Conte says "one, two, three....more" players may be coming in, in the coming days.

Had a dream last night that we sold Rahman and signed Yohan Cabaye (I only remember the former because Cabaye was wearing #6). We had a new left-back as well but I can't remember who it was.

I won't feel bad if it happen.

Just need to secure a top CB now, sell some assets, Matic, or Oscar, Ivan, get Bonnucci at all costs....

Don't think Conte will make whole changes and as excellent as Bonucci is, I would prefer we pay the sum for Koulibaly instead as we can get more years out of him.

Bonnuci, Chiellini, Barzagli and Benatia.

Juventus signing Benatia on loan as he didn't want to stay at Bayern because they signed Hummels. Surely one of Barzagli, Chiellini or Bonnuci will be leaving as I can't imagine any of them happy as back up.

Barzagli is 35, not surprising if they are starting to reduce his involvment

Georginio Wijnaldum is still in Newcastle, he isn't a championship player. At his first season, he has played 38 games and scored 11 goals, not a bad for a midfielder. Would like to have him here, he can offer more than Oscar.

As much as I don't really rate Oscar I'm not sure I agree with that statement

Have thought that myself. Not a bad player but he was inconsistent. He scored four of those goals in one game.

I'd take him but Newcastle are quoting a big price.

For mine we will still need another box-to-box. I still don't understand why we haven't made a play for Matuidi. The energy of he and Kante in midfield would complement Cesc perfectly.

And hopefully he stays there. If anyone is annoyed by Oscars inconsistent play they would be up in arms watching Wijnaldum. He has a few good games (Ine were he scored five) which really skewed his stats. If we are to replace Oscar it should be for an upgrade, not at best a lateral move

Rodriguez would be a terrific buy. Sorts our set pieces and penalties as well

penalties? that 1 no need to sort out, hazard's track record is pretty good, well in fact, is very good..

Not sure if serious and the price seems a bit low given his pretty good start to a Premier League career:

Andre Ayew for 12 mln pounds...

I doubt Swansea would want to let him go for so little.

And freekicks - wasn't William's freekicks the sole highlight of last season?

Eek, looks like we've inadvertently started the [inevitable] exodus out of Leicester:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jul/15/riyad-mahrez-leicester-city

I think we should be all over that, if it's true. Mahrez is class and proven in the league aswell.

Mahrez & Hazard, they'd tear teams apart!

As for CBs, I'd prefer one of Rugani, Romagnoli, Van Djiik or just bring back Christensen.

His record over the last year and a half is around 50%. We made more peanalty misses then any other team last year, it definately needs help

I'm not been arrogant when I say this but we can do better than Ayew

Yes you are... Haha!

But i agree, I would hope we were aiming higher.

The only way it would make sense is if we were getting rid of Remy for about the same money, I think that would be an upgrade considering Remys injury record.

But I'd prefer 3rd striker went to Traore but I see no other way that move would make sense.

Sure. We can do better. But given we have Oscar or Kenedy playing for the first team, Ayew would be a definite improvement on those players.

There is also one characteristic of Ayew that makes him an instant upgrade: He's a born winner, motivator and leader. Unlike all our players he only improves when the going gets tough.

He plays in a completely different position to both Kennedy and Oscar, and is not a definite improvement,

He plays LW (Kenedy), AM (Oscar) or ST. He is an improvement as he's much better defensively and has a winning mentality, which the squad last season lacked. He makes up with that mentality in what he lacks in skill.

Jon sorry but everyone knows we won't be buying Ayew or Kwadoah.

We'll see. The only reason Asamoah isn't on for now is because Juventus doesn't want to sell and Allegri has publically said that with Asamoah back from injury is like having 'a new signing'. Allegri blocked a sell, says he wants Asamoah to stay.

Asamoah was also a Conte purchase at Juventus and regards him very highly. I see no reason why this one 'won't be' happening... If you think Conte isn't interested in Asamoah then you obviously know little about your coach.

Article from yesterday from Italian Juve gazette - Conte has told Chelsea to make a bid:

http://www.tuttojuve.com/calciomercato/asamoah-il-chelsea-continua-ad-essere-interessato-la-situazione-317774

As for Ayew: It's just a rumour. Plus the price is ridiculously low, so I think its crap.
