According to Gianluca Di Marzio (the new Mr Reliable?),Antonio Conte is keen on bringing Southampton and Italy forward Graziano Pelle to Chelsea.

Pelle, Batshuyi, Costa and Traore sounds good to me

each brings something different to the forward line. why not. utd have two 18 year olds in their first team, and city have inferior strikers and same for arsenal and spurs, and if we play with two up top it's worth it. I think pelle would be alright actually, and he isn't getting any younger so probably last chance to shine for a big team.

Probably the only person that doesn't like that combination of Pelle, Batshuyi & Costa. They are all your classic big centre forward, can't see a combination of any of them working as I don't see any of them dropping deep & linking up play. With City Iheanacho & Aguero can both drop deep into a 10 role & link up play, Zlatan is the only classic number 9 UTD have as any of Rooney, Martial & Rashford will roam.

Costa used to play 2nd striker to Falcao at Atletico and Pelle was linking up well with Eder for Italy.

I think they're versatile enough to be effective.

Not the only person sir! I think they are a bit similar to all play together. Again we need an Eidur link striker as a different option. Unless of course we are going to move Costa on. Which I guess isn't out of the question.

I don't know much about Batman, but the Pelle and Costa are very different players, despite their similar statures, in my opinion. Pelle is more of a target man, he holds up the ball well and for a big guy, his link play and technique are very good. Costa is a finisher through and through, his hold up play and link up play aren't as good as Pelle, but he's a more clinical poacher/ predator style player really.

We are not in the champions league and the Afcon is in January, there is no way Traore will want to hang around when he knows he obviously will be fourth choice and might not not get as much game time as the little he had last season.

Almost every time he played up top he tended to score, on the wing he offered very little. Look at when he was at Vitesse. When played on the wing most Vitesse fans branded him average, yet when they switched him up top after January he was their top scorer and best player.

Didn't watch him at Vitesse but I'll take your word for it. I just remember him cutting in from the right and taking long shots from outside the box and he always looked a handful for defenders.

last i heard, di marzio were reporting juventus were ready to buy both cuadrado and matic. with the scarcity of top central midfielders out there, i would hope we wouldn't even consider selling matic.

According to the Guardian, they're close to signing Valdes but they've cooled their interest on Van Persie.
