For that amount, I'm surprised we haven't gone for Stones who surely after the season he's had, would go for around £30-35m. £25m is a lot for a 29 year old.

A £30m Bonucci is of more use to us than a £35m John Stones.

I'd rather spend big on Bonucci than the potential of Stones.

stone is not good enough, he will end up like jones, tom, swp, rodwell, walcot, chatum, wilshere etc.. just big hype, typical of english media & its associates..  The last one they get it right is only rooney..

I've always liked him since he broke on to the scene for Milan, I don't watch them every week but when I have and I've seen him, he's a very good player!

Only 23 as well, so plenty of years ahead of him!

With Conte still at the Euros we aren't doing an business to speak of and The Dippers have signed Mane, Utd are singing Mickytrarian, even Palace have put a bid in for Batshuayi.

Please don't let us repeat last year where we don't sign anybody until the last minute and then sign Dillibodgey.

Makes sense that other clubs aren't overly keen to help us and could be driving up prices for that reason. We may just have to pay the premium required or actually rely on our young players.

Yeah. Managed to get himself back in the French squad as well this season. Wouldn't be a bad short term option I suppose, he also counts as homegrown, but would he be forgiven for leaving us for arsenal??

yes, he had a great season last year with Marseille and would have started ahead of Kante for France at the Euro's if he never got injured.

That would be great. He is actually excellent and would be a fantastic back-up. Could push Courtois for a starting spot even.

Be a surprising transfer because of the above and also he is 31 so not really the type of signing Roman allows.
