Guess we look for different things. I thought he was very unlucky against a packed defence. His movement in and around the box was excellent. You do wonder about the giant price tag though.

Unknown youngsters are being signed for £30 million, the market is completely mental....well for English sides.

We always get fleeced but that's what happens when you are in the richest league in the world.

It's like i said a few weeks back, i don't think he is worth anymore than £10m. We got Remy for cheaper and i think at his best he is better than Morata.

Morata at least tried to get into the spaces and forced a couple of defences from a giant like Petr Cech, and against a team with all players packed inside their area. That is more than Remy has shown so far. I think Morata would be a good addition to Chelsea, but I don't think he is worth yet the asking price.

Its mid-June and still no signing. All the other clubs seem to have been more effective...

Only a handful of transfers have been completed so far. The window doesn't even officially open until 1st July anyway. Not to mention the two major football tournaments happening across different sides of the world. It was always going to be a slow start, things will start to happen early to mid July I'm sure.

    Agreed bjd. Post FFP we have tended to be far more deliberative. Only 2014 with Costa and Fabregas arriving has there been a sense of speed.

    That said would be nice to return to our old agressive ways in the market. I remember watching Malouda playing for France and thinking he's a good player we should sign him, only to discover we already had!

    I know it's not a rumour but we (me included tend to give the board a hard time with transfers at times) but I remember when we were heavily linked with Sterling while he was at Liverpool and admittedly I probably thought he'd be a good signing because of his pace.

    Obviously not at 50m, but when we were rumoured to be chasing him, what a good job the board done not going toe to toe it's city. I know he still young so it could change, but he has the potential to rival our signing of Torres IMO, in fact I'd argue thus far, Torres brought more to the party.

    Bit off topic but I just think about this when I get annoyed that I feel we can sometimes me slow off the mark, these people know what they're doing (we hope!!)

    See the more I watch lukauku the more I see why he might have been punted. Yeah he's good but he looks like he's not even trying most of the time.

    I wouldn't mind seeing some Italian and Croatian defencive/holding players in the team.

    Bonucci brought in. Bring up Pasalic and maybe a smaller striker.

    Me personally I think hazard as a 2nd striker could be an idea for Costa

    apparently juve want £47 million for bonucci. ha f**k off! absolutely fleecing pricks. they want kroos + 120 million euros for pogba too.
