Just my two cents but in my opinion I don't think Brahimi is the worst signing. Let's not kid ourselves, all of us would be saying WTF if we signed Payet last summer. Give it a chance at least. There's been so much talk of us making the right, small time signings--maybe this could be one similar to Kante or Mahrez?? Who knows until we see them on the pitch with us....

All fair points. Brahimi did rip us apart when we played them last year.

That said I still think we're better off reinforcing with a left footer for more balance.

I'm also not entirely sure that we need to reinforce in the attacking midfield. We may lose someone (hopefully Oscar) but at a 23m price I've seen quoted I'm not sure there aren't other areas I'm more interested in reinforcing notably centre forward and central midfield.

Yeah that's true. I just think with all the talk of "making the right signing" instead of "the big name signing", we should be open to a lot more options this summer than usual. Again, correct me if I'm wrong brothers.

Just on Brahimi abramovich, it doesn't really make sense to me why we would be hiring another right footed left winger. We already have Hazard, Pedro and Willian.

For mine if we were to be making any purchases it should be for a left footer and a right winger to potentially provide some balance.

 

I know absolutely nothing about him apart from what I can read or watch on the web. And also, there are rumours about Pedro's possible return to Barca, so who knows. That's why I didn't bother starting a new thread on this one, I guess we'll see what's what in the coming weeks.

He's had a very good season back on loan in Serie A and was an absolute soldier during Conte's reign at Juve, constantly forcing far more talented players out of the side.
