July 20, 20169 yr Kovacic reminds me of a young Cesc but can tackle and defend. Drops deep, good passer of the ball, can move forward and score goals. He's was brutal last season when he got game time which wasn't very often. He's more like Modric than Cesc.
July 20, 20169 yr He's was brutal last season when he got game time which wasn't very often. He's more like Modric than Cesc. I watched Madrid a bit last season and never saw him feature. By brutal do you mean like Cuadrado at Chelsea brutal?
July 20, 20169 yr I watched Madrid a bit last season and never saw him feature. By brutal do you mean like Cuadrado at Chelsea brutal? He played in a few la liga, cup and CL games. Don't think Zidane rates him very highly like James. No one is that bad.
July 20, 20169 yr He played in a few la liga, cup and CL games. Don't think Zidane rates him very highly like James. No one is that bad. Haha. But by brutal, you mean awful, yeah?
July 20, 20169 yr Haha. But by brutal, you mean awful, yeah? Didn’t look confident at all, couldn’t link up and seemed to be trying too hard to impress. Think it was far too soon to make the move to Madrid personally.
July 20, 20169 yr Portuguese newspaper Record claim in their Wednesday edition that Chelsea are willing to pay Victor Lindelof’s €30m termination clause. The Swedish international defender is currently in England, training with his club Benfica at St George’s Park, and so if a move was to progress he’d be well placed. The 22 year old central defender has seen his profile rise over the past season, and good performances for Benfica have led to links with other clubs. At one point Manchester Untied were also said to be willing to sign the player. In May Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet published an article claiming Manchester Untied had submitted a bid for the player worth just over £20m, but that story soon died and there didn’t appear to be much in it. It remains to be seen whether the Chelsea claims have the same fate, or whether this one progresses further. Lindelof is right footed, and can play as a central defender, right back, or even in a defensive midfield position. He joined Benfica in 2012, and last year graduated from Benfica B to the first team squad.
July 20, 20169 yr seen him a few times, always stod out to me, but Know very little about him beside the fact that he is very highly rated in Sweden Edited July 20, 20169 yr by Xfaxtor
July 20, 20169 yr Not exactly reliable... but he might be good. http://talksport.com/football/transfer-report-barcelona-willing-sell-ps20m-rated-arsenal-and-chelsea-target-arda-turan#IvSUTLGF73oWOPw8.03

July 20, 20169 yr The more i read about Lindelof, the i think it would be a crazy signing for 30m. He has only played 26 games for Benfica's 1st team, so he is actually less experienced in a good standard league, than our very own christiansen. I was hoping we would get someone closer to their prime.

July 20, 20169 yr This is an entirely unfair comparison I know, but Renato Sanches only has a few more senior appearances than that. Thats a good point but i dont think Lindelof is in the same league as sanches in terms of potential, and i think we need to be looking at a centre back whose experience and abilty will complement zouma and christiansen. Im still hoping we end with koulibaly or manolas tbh
July 21, 20169 yr Random Portugese defender with 1 year experience is 30M, we better not sell Christensen for less than 60M
July 21, 20169 yr We are getting linked with a 40 million bid for Cavani now. Great player although im not he will be worth the sort of fee and wages it would take to get him, as he will have no resale value, and maybe only 3 seasons left at the top.
