Why would Man Utd sell Mainoo? He's their standout player in a position in which they've been awful since Michael Carrick left.

He might not want to play as a holding midfielder, his agent says he is better than that..........

Seems like a classic negotiation tactic. Agent leaks that he could be keen on moving and name drops Chelsea. 
- While the real reason is probably that they want to position themselves (agent + player) to gain a higher salary. 

No way we're offering him anywhere near that as a squad player with Enzo, Caicedo and Lavia already in the team for the same position - and with Ugochukwu + Andrey Santos out on loan. Not to mention Casadei and KDH though they're already being linked elsewhere.

Yes. There does seem to be some truth behind the suggestions that United are looking to sell Manoo, Garnacho, and Hojland. Whether we are genuinely interested and willing to pay the wages he is looking for remains to be seen.

I cannot think of any current United player that we should be seriously interested in.  We do not need any of them. 

We need a CB.  United could offer us Harry? We would say "no thank you".  Other than that they do not have a single player that we need.

Have we sold anybody yet?

I used to think we could use Onana, but after watching him lately I don't see much of an improvement over Sanchez.

Academy GK Kai Crampton has apparently joined Bournemouth on a permanent transfer. Not sure how we will cope now with only 14 keepers left on the books ... 🙂

Yep, This.  He is still only 28.  We need a CB with experience.  He did leave under bad circumstances though - not clear on all the stories, but there might be some bad blood.

It was during Roman's tenure. Rudiger and Christensen running their contracts down and leaving on a free was the catalyst for how BlueCo do their contract negotiations. like we have seen with Acheampong etc. Sign a multi-year deal or get sold while we can still get a fee,

I’m all for some more experience at the back but I’m looking for a powerful, dominant center back not someone who looks like theyve got some Victorian malnutrition disease and gets bullied in the air by Antony Martial!
