Finished Far Cry 4..really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

 

Did you play FC3? If so, how does FC4 compare with regards to playing time? I just looked and though I've barely started doing anything (other than exploring,hunting and taking the odd outpost) I saw I had done about 10 missions, a sizeable chunk, without really realising.

Bagged AC: Unity from Simply Games for £23. Won't get better than that!

I've got it and absolutely love it! Now that they've fixed the companion app as well it's absolutely class, few issues with loading times & but other than that it's been good, been online with my mate quite a lot.

Happy to hear this. I didn't trust any of the reviews when it came out because all they focussed on was the glitches and major issues it had on release, which I believe affected their final verdict of the game. I always enjoy the AC games, and Paris looks like such a fantastic setting. 

Is FC4 only available for the New Gen consoles?  Same question for the upcoming Batman game?

New Batman is for the new consoles only.

The Gotham map is going to completely dwarf Arkham City's, throw in a fully drivable Batmobile on command and the new environmental take downs and I don't think the older consoles would do it justice.

It's my most anticipated game of next year if you can't tell.

Finished Dragon Age Inquisition last night, it was fun. I will have to keep a closer eye on though on the conversations that decide who the next Divine will be, I was disappointed with the first result.

So I've finished Far Cry, got Pes 2015 on the go. Looking to trade Far Cry in whike its still got value. Tempted to AC Unity bit I'm abit fed up with Ubisoft, their games are just cut and paste jobs. Sleeping Dogs is ace but already played it. Same with GTA. Destiny?

I'm enjoying Advanced Warfare.

 

Despite new COD games like Ghosts and BO2 I played them for a short while and went straight back to the modern warfares. The 3rd dimension the exo suits give COD AW really make it the best COD game I've played since the modern warfares.

Unity arrived today! Only just started it so can't say much yet but the graphics are sweet as.

This looks fun. Nearly 2500 dos based games that run in browser, cannon fodder, wolfenstein 3d, chuck Yeager's etc..

Is Metro Redux any good?

I downloaded the demo for Destiny and switched it off after 5 minutes..its just like any other futuristic first person shooter. Killzone was better.

For info, final fantasy 1-6, baldurs gate and Icewind dale 1 & 2 are all on android.

Ordered Super Smash Bros for my Nintendo 3DS on Friday night, and it arrived this morning (what would we do without Amazon?) !

 

I was a big fan of the one on the N64, Melee on Gamecube and Brawl on Wii, so I had high hopes for this. And it doesn't disappoint! Runs at 60fps in 3d, great graphics and so many new fighters to choose from! 

Back at uni with not much work to do for a few weeks so I'll probably make a dent in Far Cry 4. I'm enjoying it, but I spend most of my time just doing whatever, rather than missions. That means the game lasts longer though.

I've got it downloaded for my Vita but not played it yet, got good reviews when it first came out so I'll give it a go. 

 

I played the Vita port of Duke Nukem very briefly but the controls were horrible so quickly gave up on it. 

 

I'm just finishing off Lego Batman 3 at the moment, I've got about 75% completion at the moment, need to collect another 20 minikits and around 50 more gold bricks and I'll be done. 

 

Put in a fair few hours on Advanced Warfare now, even with the exo suit it's still just CoD. 

 

My main criticism is that I find a lot of the weapons rather bland and there's not a lot of sense challenge in using a lot of them... In previous games I've tended to go with some of the more niche weapons such as pump action shotguns and try to master those but the game overly encourages the use of AR's and SMG's now.

Use to play it but got bored when everything took too long to build or you had to start spending money to get it done.
