Fellani, Falcao and Walcott

Featured Replies

Hit Falcao's clause and we can pull it off, offer Arsenal enough cash for a player going on a free and we can make it happen. However as much as I would love Fellaini Everton have a chance of CL, but no chance if they lose him. He has said himself he wants to give it a go to get Everton there.

Out of the three the only likely one imo is Theo, unless Roman wants to spend 50mill on another striker again.

I  rate two of them.....the other one is Falcao

Falcao is the fast English one trick pony right?.........

I can't see Everton going for any deal with Fellani, and I'd much rather we gave Danny a shot than sign Walcott.

Would much prefer Walcott to Sturridge. Much better attitude & a better player in my opinion.

Would be well chuffed with the other 2.

Fellaini huh?

Pretty pleased with the news tbh. All three add alot to our squad and 3 different options to what we have now. All quality players, whether you rate Walcott or not  his pace is something that could be very useful for us, even if he'll never be a starter. Plus his ability to play upfront or out wide would be very useful. That we we have a clinical finisher in Falcao, a speedster in Walcott and a Torres ins Torres.

Fellaini brings muscle as well as boundless options. Can play right up through the middle with the exception of CB. His height and strength would be very useful in our team full of midgets, especially since Cech is in goals and we all know he like to play it long.

Don't really need to mention Falcao, I just hope we scouted him much more than we did with Torres and actually got some qualified opinions on him. He's got everything in his locker and should almost guarantee goals the same way Van Persie does. What a buy that was for Fergie.

I'm unsure as to how we can afford these players though, with no UCL money even if the Prem money goes up. Those 'sponsors' must be paying a lot of money to put there name beside ours. The purchase of Fellaini means Lamps off is a certainty unfortunately/fortunately, depending on how you look at it.

One increases our Belgian core to our future, one is English and meets Premiersip guidelines, the other will guarantee the goals to bring us further domestic and European success, may mean Danny is off to Liverpool because Theo is very versatile.

If we're really after Fellaini, then I'm worried. Everton have so little incentive to sell him now that the only way I can see them doing so is for an enormous fee, one that I don't believe Fellaini is capable of justifying.

I agree. At the moment, he's (to say at the least) the engine of their team. Without him they will go downhill, so I'm not sure why they would sell him. Remember reading that he wanted to leave to bigger things though, but if the rumours are true about a £30 million pricetag then it'd be absolutely ludicrous.

As for Theo, I'd be happy to see him here. Although he's been at Arsenal for a while his pace is unbelievable. I think he's quite underrated to be fair, and if we are looking for a striker in January but can't sign anyone 'big' then he might be an ideal option.

I'd be pretty pissed off if we spent money on Walcott, especially if Sturridge left at the same time.

Fellaini would only be worth it depending on the price tag. As someone said above, 30m is way, way more than he is worth. Keeping in mind that City got Yaya for 24m.

I'd be delighted if we brought in Falcao though.

Danny is being linked to red scum for 13 or 14 million right? If we can get Walcott for less than that then it represents decent business in my book. Even if we shell out 10 mill on him, we would be swapping young English talent with another (if slightly more experienced) young english talen pkus putting a few pounds in the bank.

Walcott? no thanks. Why Walcott and not Schurrle? Schurrle is 10 times the player Walcott is.I like Fellaini but is DM his best position? I'm not convinced.Tiote,Capoue would be better choices or just playing Luiz more there and buy a CB.

Dear Santa

I have been a good boy this year. I have washed behind my ears, brushed my teeth, eaten my greens and said my prayers. Please do not reward me with wealth, with consumables, with high end electonics.

Falcao....in the words of Mariah Carey....all i want for Christmas is you.

Santa, please make it happen. I will wish upon the thread starter (star) that it comes true.

Thank you for listening.

10 times? Wow.....that is very specific. a whole 10 times?  I would never had guessed, but with such damning evidence, who am i to argue?

Our homegrown quota may have somehing to do with it. Cole and Lampard may very well be gone come summer and Sturridge even earlier, which leaves us very thin in that respect.

I'm not a fan of Walcott, but if Danny is dead set on leaving , replacing him with another young English international makes a bit of sense.

Walcott has limited footballing ability. He can run fast, but that's about it. Don't really want him.

As for the other two...yes please!

Would be happy with all three, Walcott gives us a bit of direct pace which at times I think we lack. We're going to have a massive Belgian/Brazilian contingent come next season.

Looks like somebody has read this post.

Mentions the exact 3 players.

Love this quote...

Fellaini is one of three players, along with forwards Radamel Falcao and Theo Walcott, who Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to spend heavily on next month to ensure his club’s campaign does not go into freefall!!!!

:face_palm:

I am trying to convince myself to close my Facebook account. But yeah, here are some 'facebook' news.

Fellaini is 100% ours and tommorow will be contract finalization(pre transfer window like Marin). And they said Stoke City was his last game in an Everton shirt.
Gomis is 100% a Chelsea player from January.
Torres going to Anzhi in January.

Falcao , 100% done.

Source? Don't believe any of that for a second...
