September 30, 201312 yr You can answer "Torres" to most of these questions and it wouldn't be wrong...
September 30, 201312 yr One of our loan players has scored, quick, use it to slag off players, managers, tea ladies, owner, anyone at the club. This is why we loaned him, scoring will improve his confidence and make him a better player next season. I know it hurts seeing him play so well just now since we can't seem to get our remaining strikers to score but we need try keep positive and think how much of a improved player we will have next season. Well done big man, London is calling and I can't wait till your home! Edited September 30, 201312 yr by RFC_CFC
September 30, 201312 yr To be fair I agree it's great for Lukaku but not for us this season Edited September 30, 201312 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
September 30, 201312 yr I can only laugh at the absurdity of it all. No use crying over spilled milk. He is out on loan but I have a feeling he will never play here again. At least he's driving his value up.
September 30, 201312 yr The lad's playing well again, 2 tonight already against Newcastle. Now, we seem to need a confident goalscorer, who could we buy? Do you think Everton works sell him? Bugger, he's ours already we gave him away.
September 30, 201312 yr Doesnt matter, the game week cut off is 11am every Saturday. He'll be in your team next week. Unlucky lol I do the telegraph one! Bagged me 15 points so far :)
September 30, 201312 yr Lukaku still makes a ton of misplaced passes and he is crowded off the ball with relative ease. If he'd make those like he's made in this game here with Chelsea we'd be frustrated. Not taking anything away from his performance today. He's done what is asked of him; scored goals.
September 30, 201312 yr Well obviously if someone tells him he aint first choice after he returns after another successful loan he'd ask for a transfer, it's what any sensible player would do in his situation. He went out on loan to prove himself, scored 17 goals in the EPL in his debut season as regular player in EPL side trying to prove himself as good enough for CFC. CFC tells him "nah lad we are quite happy with Torres; Ba and Eto'o go out and prove yourself again"
September 30, 201312 yr Hard done-by PL loans 4-Played for my pension in a second rate league and vanity buy big fat 0. Edited September 30, 201312 yr by haifarul
September 30, 201312 yr I think we can safely remove any doubt about Lukaku being our best striker and this decision will continue to frustrate fans the more time he spends at Everton. It's his second game at a new club and he has hit the ground running, now when he gains a real understanding with his new team mates he can only improve his overall performance.
September 30, 201312 yr Every goal he scores just makes me angrier. The board have truly trucked our striker situation up. He has already scored 4 goals for Everton and I virtually guarantee he'll score more than our three combined. Infact if any score more than 4 in the PL I'd be amazed.

September 30, 201312 yr I know he is a Chelsea fan and all that but it is only so much sh!t u can take even from the ones u love,so nobody will blame if next summer he sticks two fingers up and departs.I wont blame him at all.
September 30, 201312 yr People are complaining like he's been sold. This season is going to be great for his development and he'll return ready to lead our line. The positives far out weigh the negatives.
September 30, 201312 yr Was on holiday in Greece the night Sky had the loan story on. Even the Greek barman reckoned he'd score more than Torres & Ba combined. Poor Sod was on loan last season and looked good, and then he gets loaned out again. Ba looks a complete donkey by comparison, and was a panic but last term, really can't see why he's still here. Why couldn't they take a chance and give the lad a run of games.?
September 30, 201312 yr I think we'll regret letting Lukaku go and Moses too. We have strengthened both Liverpool and Everton - for whose benefit? The players as they both wanted to play week in week out something they weren't going to get this season.
September 30, 201312 yr People are complaining like he's been sold. This season is going to be great for his development and he'll return ready to lead our line. The positives far out weigh the negatives. You are missing one major thing from your deduction, I have no doubts this will be a great loan for Lukaku as I've said when the deal occurred. The problem with what you've said is our board who have a track record of being idiots I don't trust our board, they've done enough cock ups in the last three years with strikers. Lets see where to begin: 1) loaning Sturridge after barely playing him(outscores Torres/Drogba/Anelka's combined tally) 2) signing Torres (scores 1 goal in his first 6 months at the club) 3) not playing Sturridge up top after his good spell at Bolton and making him learn a new position 4) loaning Lukaku 5) keeping Torres as first choice, while keeping Sturridge as the only alternative and not playing him 6) swapping Ba for Sturridge 7) loaning Lukaku who was our best striker after not giving him a single full game during the new season 8) signing Eto'o and going with Eto'o and Torres as first choice this season 9) sell Lukaku get overpriced and ageing player instead 10) rinse repeat How difficult is to actually play the lad, give him two games in a row(like a certain older African player we recently signed) before making a decision.
September 30, 201312 yr A season of first team football for Lukaku. Great for him. Excellent for us when he comes back next season after leading belgium to the world cup. Dream?

If he'd make those like he's made in this game here with Chelsea we'd be frustrated. Not taking anything away from his performance today. He's done what is asked of him; scored goals. ...if he'd make 2 goals and give an assist in 45 minutes, we would forgive him I guess...
September 30, 201312 yr People are complaining like he's been sold. This season is going to be great for his development and he'll return ready to lead our line. The positives far out weigh the negatives Do they though? He could be banging them in for us instead of Everton
September 30, 201312 yr It's a good thing I actually like Everton otherwise I would be pretty pissed.
September 30, 201312 yr It's a good thing I actually like Everton otherwise I would be pretty pissed. Same. Quite like Everton tbh so Lukaku there isn't bad. Would love it if he would score a hat-trick against Lolopool. Edited September 30, 201312 yr by MANoWAR
September 30, 201312 yr Why are we saying the board messed up? If Mourinho wanted him to lead the line he would still be here. He didbt so we sent him to someone who would.
