UEFA Champions League Final 2013

Featured Replies

Felt I should make this a separate thread. Gotze officially out for Dortmund now, that'll be a huge blow to them. I want Dortmund to win since their team is likely to be dismantled in the summer but I just can't see Bayern losing their third final in four years. 2-1 to Bayern for me.

I'd like to see Dortmund win it, there's something about Klopp that just makes me want to cheer on Dortmund but with Gotze out and seeing how ruthlessly Munich demolished Barca in the semis I just can't see beyond a Munich win in this one.

2-0 Munich

I would love to see Dortmund come out on top, but at the same time wouldn't begrudge Bayern for winning, given their generosity in Munich!

Three losses in four finals would be hilarious, though, and a win for Dortmund would be a win for the little guy against one of the established elite.

Regardless of the result, I hope we get a great final with plenty of action in each teams final third and a few good goals to boot.

This would be four losses actually, if you count 99.

I think Bayern is even stronger this time around. After their dismantling of Barca, I just don't know if BVB has it in them. The good thing is that they play Bayern enough so they certainly aren't scared of them.

3-1 to Bayern

Don't see any neutrals rooting for Bayern. Dortmund is surely the underdog and I will be rooting for them, but I won't be too mad if Bayern does win, because they have been so close so many times in the past few years, and they do deserve it. Don't like them because they buy everything they see in Germany, but as a Chelsea fan, who am I to talk these days...  :blush2:

Bayern are definitely gonna give it everything. I think they'll win.

Bayern will take the lead, Dortmund will equalise and then Bayern wil regain the lead and go on to win.

Im totally neutral though. Bayern don't deserve to lose considering the season they've had and how many finals they'd have been in and not won. Dortmund are underdogs and I think Reus is quality. Should be a cracking game.

Bayern, they have been the better of the two and based purely on performances deserve to win it. Also I would rather they won it under Henynckes than under Guardiola, we would never hear the end of it if Guardiola were to win it.

I'm putting a large amount of money on Dortmund to win.

Wigan won the FA Cup this season.

Swansea won the League Cup.

We won the Europa League despite having a torrid season overall.

Torres somehow banged in over 20 goals in all competitions, despite still being sh*t.

Stranger things have happened shedenders...

I'm not deciding yet who I'll be backing, but i think Bayern will win it.

I'm taking my boys to the festival of football Saturday morning and I expect to come across a lot of German fans there, from that experience I'll decide who to cheer on.

Hopefully we'll get a cracking game. I too would like to see Dortmund win, but I think Bayern will edge it.

I think Bayern are going to crush them, possibly by as many as 3 goals.

They're just on another level, and with Gotze injured and Lewandowski more focused on where he's playing next year, I don't see them having much of a chance.

That said i'll be in my Dortmund jersey cheering them on.

This is the first "neutral" CL final in ages, that I am quite excited about, maybe because its at Wembley and I've already seen a few excited Germans in town....I would quite like to see Bayern win it, for no other reason than that my Brother lives in Munich, and I'm sure he'll enjoy a great Saturday night if they win it..!

hope dortmund win this one, munich have great fans but the top brass who run uefa, Karl-Heinz Rummeinegge and co, too much power and whine like idiots when things don't go their own way, the bloke practically brought in FFP because we kept beating them !

Can't wait, got nothing else to do tonight so I'll be watching all the build up from 6 and then after the final the program about Sir Frank is on. Bliss.

It's amusing, last year Bayern were backed by all of the neutrals and there were lashings of faux outrage in the press when we beat them, but this time around they're being cast as the villains.

A year is a long, long time in football.

Nothing to do with the time scale my friend, there's only one reason for the change in attitude - Chelsea aren't the opposing team.

I think it's more to do with Bayern raiding Dortmund for their biggest talent in the summer.
