Moses To Everton

Moses to Everton for 8 million

How much did we pay ? 9 - 11 million ?

personally thought he had quite a good season, a very good squad player and his value certainly hasn't dropped IMO. He cops a bit of flak on here sometime but thats just purely because idiots expect him to playing as well as three of the youngest and best players on the planet in Hazard, Oscar and mata. He played enough games and done well enough for me.

Only way it would happen is if Jose thought Moses was surplus to requirements. Seeing as Marin was sent out on loan, presumably to accommodate Schurrle I see no reason for us to want to sell Moses.

As for Everton taking him on loan, that makes even less sense but then this is the DM we're talking about so it's most likely nonsense as usual.

I would keep him, he is a good squad player. He can play in a number of positions so can cover a number of players on the pitch. Also selling him for so little when he only joined us last summer makes no sense. Loaning him out makes even less sense. A loan wont benefit us at all. All it would do is help another rival out. Something we should not be doing.

He will be like kalou was to Mourinho. A vesatile, very hardworking player capable of playing in so many roles. Mou is not going to  him go that cheap

He's OK....Nothing more, I could see us selling him if Jose though we don't need him and recoup most of our money.

Daily Star seem to be hinting that we might have hinted at a interest in Draxler as he has hinted he may like to play in England, well that will be the reason Moses is on his way to Everton to free up room for Draxler.

I think Moses will be a Chelsea player come September. I dont see why Chelsea would sell him unless a really good offer came in and i cant see Everton giving us a really good offer. If Moses is happy to stay and work hard for the team when called upon then i would be happy to see him stay.

he wont be getting much playing time thats for sure so if hes happy to be a bit part player then theres no reason to sell him

We were lucky with injuries last season. We may not be so lucky this season. If anyone of Mazacar get a long term injury then Moses could see a bit of game time.

Doesn't he count as HG? Doubt we would sell him, especially at a loss. I thought he was one of our better players pre-ACN, and he is likely to improve. Just needs to work on his crossing some more!

if anyone of mazacar gets injured we still have schurrle and de bruyne, not to mention we can easily switch to 4-3-3

He'll initially be used as an impact sub. He has good pace and he does commit defenders.

He just needs to improve his decision making when it comes to releasing the ball and could become a really good player.

I see no reason to sell him, personally I thought he had a decent first season.

Clubs need to stop taking the pi$$ when they attempt to buy our players. No way he should be sold at a loss. This as always been a bug bear of mine with our transfer dealings, we pay to much and then sell to cheap. Hopefully this will stop with FFP. The money wasted with this policy and in compensation to ex-managers alone we would have been running at a much healthier state financially over the last few years.

We only failed to run at a loss once since RA came in, something away fans like to gloat about with all the old wait till RA leaves you club will be finished bo!!ocks. But with a few tweaks there's no reason the club cant easily be self sustainable. The first one being getting top $ when selling players.

If Everton want him then they should make an offer that makes us seriously think about it, otherwise jog on.

Doesn't he count as HG?

Yep, he does. I'd say keep Moses, he not a first teamer but offers something different than our other AM's and has always done a good job when he plays.

Everton are working on a deal for £8million-rated Chelsea forward Victor Moses.

The 22-year-old is favoured by Roberto Martinez who knows him well from his Wigan days. Everton would prefer a loan while deals for Spartak Moscow's Aiden McGeady and Swansea's Nathan Dyer are still under discussion.

Martinez signed Arouna Kone from Wigan on Monday for £5m and will complete a deal for former Latics defender Antolin Alcaraz pending his work permit. Goalkeeper Joel Robles from Atletico Madrid, who was on loan at the DW Stadium last season, should follow.

I honestly don't know why they bothered putting any text in that article - Simon Jones could simply have written "trust me" under the headline and it would have had the same amount of substance...

this wouldnt bother me...good squad player (if relied upon) but lets be honest he is not chelsea quality...whoever just compared him to kalou..lets be honest..kalou was never good enough either hence why he might be on h is way to WBA.

He does count as a homegrown, which basis the conversation in the Ruddy Thread means his worth a lot more than £8m. We paid £9m.

A 22yr old forward with EPL/CL and International experience the bidding should start at £12m. I dont think he will feature too much, I think he is a good player we just have better keeping him out. If JM wants him to stay fine if he is surplus to requirements fine. I know people on here will say 'its not your money RA dont care about £4-5m' but he should. I don't like to have the pi$$ taken and i dont want to keep relying on RA to bail us out when we run at a loss and under FFP we cant afford to do it anymore.

I just hate to see players leave on the cheap just cos its us.

I like Moses he will be a good squad player for us next season although he is going to get much less games next season than he did last season. For his first season at Chelsea i thought he was pretty good gave us something different, in alot of games he was our best player Basel away and West Ham for example. He needs to improve his crossing and shooting  and he needs to try and take on players more as that's his biggest strength but he didn't use that as much for us as he did at Wigan, due to less space is a reason though.

He counts as home grown too so another reason to keep him.

Do Everton even have £8m???

They'd have to sell Fellani to have anywhere close to a decent transfer budget and considering how quiet the rumours of him leaving have been i don't think its gonna happen.

If they do manage to get some money from sales then they can have Moses for £12m. Anything less then that and we might as well keep him

With Marin on loan, If Moses goes. We would only have two wingers (Hazard & Schrrule)

de bruyne is more of a winger than hazard
