Cesc Fabregas

Featured Replies

Let's be honest, Fabregas will follow the money.

If it comes down to playing for Man Yoo, with no CL football, or playing for us, who can easily afford £200,000 a week, there is only one place he is going to go. And that aint up the M6!

If it comes down to money then he will be at United for usre.

Never should have been sacked, same with Andy gray

It was all a bit of a witchunt, but ultimately they were sexist and lurid and basically acted like it was 1979.

Personally i think they should've been gone a long time before for their general air of untouchable smugness, SKY is certainly a better place without either of them now.

Rough translation

"Great players are always good signings. Already know Cesc is a player who knows the competition and was always one of the best players in the Premier when he was at Arsenal. Provide soccer ball control, lot arrival goals. important ..

Sounds like they just asked him how does he feel the PL will be with Cesc back in the league.

Nothing really to do with Chelsea directly IMO

Yesterday the express were running with the headline that Fabregas had passed his medical. I dont think they have a clue.

Now that the interest/signing has been made public, I hope the club move fast to get it finalised. Don't want another Robinho on our hands.

Yes they should have, but not for that.

Spot on.

As a female I personally couldn't care less about their comments, it happens, they were probably joking and are both are clearly not Mensa members... A couple of dirty old men (perhaps slightly harsh) making comments? Who cares. My opinion of course but the outrage was embarrassing, anyone would think we still couldn’t vote or were still overly oppressed… it’s an even playing field now, it’s not like their comments have done any harm to equality... If anything it’s the other way round, would a woman get sacked for making a passing comment to a male colleague?

Tangent, sorry.......... but Gray was an awful commentator and not once did I find his thoughts interesting, insightful, thought-provoking or anything... Just utterly bland and to be honest, idiotic, much like Redknapp.

What was this thread actually about again?

Off topic but I still think that Andy Gray is a great analyst. Neville and Carragher are very good but Gray is right up there.

I think Sky have moved on now and the whole probably helped them develop the pundits.

I just want this done.

I have a feeling this would be our biggest buy of the window.

I still think it's in the balance. Sure if you look at the odds they are heavily in favor of him to join but the odds for these sorts of things do not reflect the probability like they do for an actual game.

As soon as Sky get a lead on something they will immediately suspend the betting as they simply wont offer free money to pundits. At the moment I still suspect it's a whole lot of hot air circulating and we are probably the most likely to sign him but nothing official has actually been done.

Last year Cavanis odds to join us got down to 1/4 and next minute he was linked with PSG and betting immediately closed. Sky will not offer odds when they have a reliable lead on something.

Lol telling you it's all media BS believe it when something concrete happens

I'm skeptical as well mate but 1/9 are ridiculous odds......

I really dont think talksport are too bad with the breaking stories when moves are happening. They have been bang on quite a bit.

I dont recall any really high profile signings where they have been absolutely wrong, someone can correct me if I have missed it.

One that will always stick in my mind was the Tevez deal to City announced weeks before any paper had got a sniff of it!

Lets see what happens. I am very confident now this has / will be done.
