Good to see Mikel and Nigeria doing great. I hope Conte enables Mikel to recreate that same form for Chelsea.

Don't you mean you hope Mikel creates the same form for Chelsea. Chelsea have still be waiting 10 years haha

After watching Mikel play for Nigeria I always would just love for him to play one singular game in an AM position for Chelsea.

He was devastating yesterday.

It's abit different playing in a tournament with U23s than playing in the premier league where you get closed down so quickly.

Sure. That's why I said once. Just for experimentation sake. And he has done the same at national level. Just to see what would happen. I'm nothing more than curious. Let it be an FA cup or League cup game.

    It's pretty obvious when someone is nearly 30 playing in an under 23 tournament. Just saying remember the opposition, the premier league is much harder. It's why teams let Mikel have the ball in premier league. He does nothing with it. I remember when Mark Hughes played one good game in CM for Chelsea and then he played there against UTD and Chelsea was 5-0 down at half time.

    Scoring a goal. Assisting. Leading the team. And generally dominating the game.

    So well done Mikel for having a good game? I guess they don't come very often in a Chelsea shirt so they need to be celebrated when they come whenever haha

    For whatever reason Mikel does a lot with the ball for Nigeria. Not just at this tournament but in general for Nigeria. Mike seems to follow his coaches expectations to the letter. Wouldn't it be interesting to just see Mikel as an AM once for Chelsea?

    Just am example: That move he did vs Pogba. Would Mikel ever try a move like that at Chelsea? No. But I'm sure we would like him a lot more even he went outside of his assigned role for Chelsea once in a while and did some thing like that.
