Mohamed Salah to Chelsea

Could score 50 goals for all I care, still wouldn't want him back.

Difference being that Salah was here for two years and did nothing, Cuadrado has been here for a couple of months.

To be fair salah was here for less than a year. I don't think salah had enough opportunitys to really show his quality. Certainly didn't have a run of games.

He did however have a full preseason, and unfortunately didn't perform well enough when the opportunity came especially this season.

I never really wanted him here in the first place, but if he was to come back in the summer, with maybe an improvement mentally, then I think he could be a useful squad player for us.

I think it is very very difficult for any player to make their mark, when they are never given the platform to perform to their very best. ie a time to acclamatize, and a run of games in their favoured position.

I don't think Salah had a poor mentality per se unlike many Egyptian players (Amr Zaki, Ghaly) - he seemed fairly professional and hard-working - just that he wasn't really good enough to crack the team and struggled with competition.

When I say mentally, I was more referring to how he struggled impose himself, and I think that was partly due to the pressure compared with playing for basel.

OK can anyone explain this mystery for me Italian league is sh*t and a player could never find this much space in EPL so why we bought caudrado with over 25 m £ who plays in the same weak league same counter attack team and even same position as salah and irony is that salah is doing better than him in fiorentina and even better than him in chelsea and people say let's sell salah as he didn' and won't fit our style but caudrado is ?!!! why we seeking pogba and icardi from the sh*tty Italian league and why we eyeing that Douglas Costa from shakhtar where he is in even sh*ttier league than the Italian one where we also got willian with nearly 30 m £ who are playing all games as a starter and with stats of scoring 4 goals and 4 assists in 36 appearances, are you kidding me?!!! Our rw has only 4 goals in nearly a season , bale has 17 goals in 33 appearances and real madrid fans attaked him and smashed even his car and demanding his departure even ivanovic has more goals than willian so much hypocrisy so much contradiction

Vincenzo Montella:

“Salah deserves all the credit for this great impact on Serie A. I don’t know the details of how we can buy him permanently, but I do know there’s another year on loan and then we’ll see.

“The club has to ultimately evaluate the financial issues, but the important thing is that he’s going to be here with us next year.

“I knew his quality, but admittedly I did not expect Salah to adapt so quickly to Serie A. He has scored important and decisive goals against big clubs.”

He is clearly a player that plays on confidence. His' salvo of attacks from the right hand side deems him unplayable at times.

This could be a similar trait of Cuadrado' who looks absolutely devoid of ideas when he plays for us.

All his goals look the same, loads of space that he wouldn't get with us.

did you even see the goal?

he dribbled 2 defenders where was the space that you are talking about ?
