That's a good point, it wouldn't bode particularly well for Oscar either considering Juventus' alleged interest in him, as well as Matic and Fabregas seemingly being undroppable.

If we have a chance at getting him, I hope it's the lure if succeeding in the Premier League than convinces him to come here. He may feel he has a point to prove.

Graham Hunter, the first person to announce the Cesc transfer has said that it'll be us or Barca for his signature.

We'll certainly be selling at least 1 high profile player to fund that, would make for a very interesting window.

Would he count to the English player quota a bit like Fabregas due to his United youth days? Bringing him in would seal most of our midfield issues and could allow Fabregas and Matic to be rested from time to time. It would also give us a bit of a spark in the midfield when we're feeling a bit lethargic.

Creatively not that good imo. If Fabregas and Hazard form dipped we'd be f**ked. I'd rather sign Bale for that amount and get a good backup CM like Schniederlin/Song to cover Cesc.

You do know Matic was a playmaker before we turned him more into an anchor man in midfield. Fabregas has 16 assists in the league this year and Pogba is a fantastic player as it is, what he lacks in creativity he makes up before in goals. I'd rather we had someone who shoots from the edge rather than picking slow passes.

(Not that Pogba even lacks in creativity)

Name a better midfield than that in the world? I can't.

It has a mix of pace, power and technique.

Fabregas has 16 assists in the league this year and Pogba is a fantastic player as it is, what he lacks in creativity he makes up before in goals. I'd rather we had someone who shoots from the edge rather than picking slow passes.

Respectfully disagree.. I don't think it can be proven to the counter. Stats wise there is not a lot between them and ramsay plays in a far better league for not the best team in that league. Ramsey was injured, look at arsenal's run this last couple of months, it wasn't alexis inspired, it's Ramsey inspired, he's is best center mid in the country and in my opinion. (in part thanks to toure being lazy) when watching arsenal it's such a pleasure to watch Ramsey moment, vision and technique. He would be the replacement for Lampard. That's not to say pogba isn't an excellent player, just given the option I'd put my money in my pocket and try and push Baker and RLC. But If you told me I had to pick one it would be Ramsey.

Im guessing that you watch June every week so you may have a small advantage on me in terms of assessing pogba
