Azpi for me since we kept a clean sheet. Hazard 2nd, Lamps 3rd.

Lampard for me, controlled the midfield. His passing accuracy is important when Ramires is losing possession every time he gets it.

 

Defence weren't tested at all, very solid.

JT for me. Dave had a great game, as did all our back 4.

Hazard for me, closely followed by Cesar. On another day, with players who produce better end product, he would have been involved in a number of goals. Also at the end he is still working back to win the ball for us.

Kalas as his substitution used up the time they could've used to score 2 and win the tie

Lampard for me, fantastic passing, worked hard, set up a lot of our counters that then were wasted by Willian or Oscar, great corner for the 2nd goal and probably could have had another assist had someone finished after his driving run through the midfield in the 2nd half.

Hazard had a good game as did JT, Cahill Lamps and Azpi, I think Eto'o deserves my vote for doing what a CF is supposed to, not saying he had a great game but his hold up play and the way he brings the midfielder into play in tight situations is why he should be starting all our games fitness permitting.

Ramires... nah only joking. Azpi was excellent again but im bored giving it to him all the time. Lampard for me thought he had a good game.

Does anyone know who the official man of the match was?

Frank for me, one of his best games of the season. Hard to judge though really as the opposition were pitiful, which was fantastic.

Tommy Kalas. best 15 seconds without touching the ball I've ever seen.

Lampard edged it for me although our defence was solid and Hazard was class.

Lampard, looked very comfortable in possion, went forward well at the right times and being as he hasn't been playing as much as he's used to he didn't miss a beat, not that we'd expect anything different, felt a goal was coming for him tonight but wasnt to be

A hard one for me. Our entire squad played brilliantly. Lampard owned that midfield position, JT and Azpilicueta played well, but Gary Cahill!! Nicely struck goal. Had to vote for Azpilicueta as he was all over the shop and kept Drogba in check a lot during the match.

Oscar, since he provided both assists. (Is a corner kick from which a goal is scored considered an assist?)

I would consider it a key pass more than anything, it was quite a scramble in there when Cahill scored. It was a great delivery though as was the set up for the opener.

Went with Oscar. He played really well and hasn't had much love around here lately.

It was nice to see him play a good game.

Lampard seemed to have all the time in the world. As some barca player once mentioned he knows his way around a football pitch. Great statement.

Hazard

Lampard was truily outstanding wasn't he. Some of those runs and opportunities he set up had me on my feet. There's a reason why he's our top scorer.

Lampard for me. I already wrote out several sentences justifying my vote but the post was lost and I can't be arsed typing it out again so f**k it, it's Super Frank.

I think I have a good idea what you would have said anyway. He was on the ball big time. Just a shame a couple of his shots were just shy of going in. Would have been really nice to see him grab one.

In a good team performance Hazard for me.Constant menace all night.Azpi was superb and Frank also.Eto must play when fit as he is by far our most intelligent striker at the moment.UP THE CHELS!
