To be fair the Spanish medical team must have had faith in his fitness to take him to the World Cup ahead of Negredo, Soldoldo and Llorente. 

So we had Costa and Fabregas medical today and both have passed it and were training with spain squad.

Don't think so to be honest. They can afford to take the gamble and if he isn't up to it they can just replace him with one of those 3 you mention.

Passing a medical doesn't mean it's a done deal, just ask totitngham and the dippers!

It'll be interesting to see what shirt number he takes with Torres on 9 and Ba on his preferred 19.
