When i was watching a stream on vipleague the Arsenal fans were trying so hard to make out that Costa was crap. Every goal he scored made them look more and more stupid.

The gooners are too busy arguing with eachother over whether they should have taken up the option on fabregas. You should have a look on arsenalmania

Any chance Costa is up for the Ballon D'Or this year or does Ronaldo have it wrapped up?  If he continues his free scoring ways and we continue to top the table, I could see him being a finalist despite a forgettable World Cup because he led Atletico to the La Liga title, Champions league final.  

Considering he only finished 10th in the voting for UEFA player of the year i'd be surprised if he made it into the final 3 for the ballon d'or.

I'm glad He won Barclays player of the month for heaven sake. FINALY chelsea players been recognised! I remember how Jose used to moan about it to the press every time he they asked about the performance of Hazard

There is a long and distinguished list of strikers that have a better to 7 league goals record then Torres.... such giants of the game like, Clive Alan, Mark Stien, Paul Furlong, John Spencer, Even Tony Cascarino.... 

But on costa... 

 

I was one of the ney Sayers, Categorically thought that Costa was a flash in the pan and would struggle in the premier league. Felt that the fact the Spanish defenses don't set up like Prem teams do (parking the bus) 

 

 

I didn't see any outstanding features of his game that made me think he would succeed. So far so wrong!! I will caviat this by saying no team we have played so far has really parked the bus yet, lets see how he does when the spammers come to visit and deffend with all 11. 

 

He has a massive will to win and has  everything mentally Jose is looking for. In terms of playing style he actually reminds me of RVN. Many have said drogba but he seem's a lot more alert in the box. Not as likly to get the screamers as the drog but his movement right now is second to none

Only 4 games in, he might not score for the rest of the season.

Big thing for me is that Costa is managing to be first scorer for us in the games.

Not only is he scoring but he is scoring the important goals too.
