I've had an email from Steve Atkins (Head of communication and public affairs at Chelsea). The Board are aware of the way Mick Dennis uses his social media to spout hate campaigns towards Josè.

Mick Dennis will not be allowed access to any players or staff until the end of the season and after that his situation regarding Chelsea will be reviewed!

Was just about to post it as I got the email too. Good to see, the vile pricj should be banned for life.

Wonder if the club also did something about the official betting partner tweeting a pic taking the piss out of the club

Hate it when these journos try to claim the moral high ground even when they are meant to be apologising.

 

He is only doing this because he (or more likely his editor) who have got a email or call saying his access to the bridge is under review, little weasel

I too thought his "apology" just sounded like someone in fear of his job.  Prick.  It took until he was banned by Chelsea to apologise didn't it?

He made himself look like a complete and utter plank with that tweet, it was disgraceful to be fair and he should be ashamed of himself.

He then lied by saying it was 'only cfc fans' that had an issue with it when it was clear to see everyone thought it was appalling.

He only eventually aplologised because he realised how bad it made him look. Had he got the reaction he was looking & hoping for you can bet your bottom dollar he would never have apologised.

All in all he has made himself look a prize tit and even sent a grovelling apology to Jose himself.

Talk about a backfiring plan....

Well done Chels for acting on it, a life ban would have been more appropriate rather than 2 or 3 games but hopefully it's extended under review.

Okay that Natasha who sent the email has since said on Twitter he has not been banned YET. So WTF send that email.

it said he's restricted from talking to the players, not banned from the place.

Ah... Well that would be why then. My bad.

Players and staff so does that mean press conferences?  I would imagine it does - which could be seen almost as a ban if a football correspondent can't go to a presser?
