Divork Origi

Featured Replies

Divock not Divork sorry spelt his stupid name wrong.

The young Belgian striker who scored against Russia currently playing for Lille.

Not saying we should sign him but has anyone else been impressed with some of his performances in the world cup so far?. Never heard of him before the world cup, anyone seen him play for Lille a few times?.

He has some impressive attributes for sure. Strong, quick and looks a bit better technically compared to Lukaku. Very raw though, but would be a good investment for a reasonable price.

He's played less than 90 minutes in the entire world cup so far.

And done far more than Lukaku who has played over 2 hours of football.

Guy looks a really tricky and exciting player, just a shame the dippers are in for him.

I don't think we can tell much from a handful of substitute appearances playing against tired defenders, I've never seen him play for Lille but his goalscoring record isn't great. He's still just a kid and could be a good prospect for the future but I find it daft that people are already comparing him to Lukaku, who has been playing at a high level and scoring regularly (and against better teams than Algeria, Russia and South Korea) for 1 and a half seasons.

Yes it is never fair to judge someone's performance level in such a space of time, but you can judge the quality of his attributes. If someone on the pitch for 5 mins, makes a 100m sprint in 10 seconds, you can unequivocally say he's quick. No one is comparing his level with Lukaku's but it is more than fair to suggest he has been more effective at the WC and looks better technically.

From what I've seen, and that's not a lot, I like him. Very fast, good ball skills, fast feet, runs at defenders, confident and not afraid to shoot. Everything a 19 year old should be, playing fearless football. He looks raw but I think he's a real prospect.

This player has not even had a breakout season yet. Scored a paltry 5 goals this season.

Going to pool will only stall his progress (unless they loan him) as he is quite similar to Sturridge and Lambert and behind them in the order. At this stage, I would rate him no higher than Bamford really.

Shaqiri's done far more than Ronaldo at the world cup too, better alert Madrid they've got the wrong bloke.

Shaqiri dosent play in the same team for a start.....

Good signing, looks like he has the potential to be the real deal.
