Shaw, Rojo and Blind - Aren't they all left backs?

Looks like Van Gaal certainly doesn't fancy Shaw. Maybe he should have come to us instead after all.

Rojo is a CB and Blind is a DM. Still though, I do get the feeling that Van Gaal doesn't rate Shaw too highly.

To be honest it's unrealistic to expect an 18-year-old who can't even complete 90 minutes to run the entire left flank. Then again, being dropped for an out-of-position Ashley Young is hardly a vote of confidence...

I think van Gaal is going to have to give up on having two up front...

Strange from Agger, I never did like the bloke when he elbowed Torres in the face on purpose but that is weird to see.

God United are sh*t

Just seen this stat, so sad to see.

Mata

0 shots
0 chances created
13 touches
10 passes

2 possession lost

The worst thing about united is that they are comically boring and clumsy, di maria I must say looks great for his second game of the season in all competitions (he played super cup as well I think).

Would be much better on the wing though.

De Maria and Mata as the 2 CMs is hilariously weak. Burnley are getting through the middle very easily.

^ Fletcher is playing as well

Agree that United haven't looked significantly better than Burnley. Di Maria has made a couple of great passes and his movement has been good but the rest of the team looks very ordinary. All Burnley need is someone appropriately hilarious to nick a goal - maybe Marvin Sordell off the bench?

Mata in particular has been awful, but then again I could say the same for rooney, young, fletcher, jones, blackett,RVP,valencia and pretty much anyone not named de gea or di maria.

United haven't been impressive but Burnley missed so many bloody chances in the first half that it will end up paying for it. Kinda of sad for them to drop points against fellow midtable club, this was probably one of the fixtures which they would want to take advantage of their home support.

United continue to spend...

So much for promoting from within and not having to 'buy' success.

They are buying. Whether they are buying success remains to be seen...

if utd played burnley on opening day, i think they would have been losing the game right now. After ourselves and swansea beat them, their confidence is gone.
