Michael Owen is clueless, Wilshire man of the match, he has had a few good moments but has been very poor, and had City have gotten the penalty everyone would be wanting his head.

post twice from City, Arsenal are wide open at the back as usual. But its ok, Wengers sorted that with his signings during the summer by buying some centre backs....oh hang on. Genius that man.

So Arsenal have had one lucky win so far this season, and been outplayed in pretty much every game. Yet they still havent signed a centre back and decent central midfielder.

Fantastic result, started off looking like the community shield game where City were just going to hand it to Arsenal but the goal changed everything.

And although I had plenty of time to make peace with the fact Lamps will play for City, seeing him in their shirt today made me feel sick...

He didn't do anything anyway. He's 36 and can't really cut it at the highest level anymore unfortunately.

Draw and some key injuries. Basically what most people would probably have wanted.

I'm not sure it's fair to wish key injuries. If we're going to win it i'd prefer to see us do it against the strongest opposition.

Each to their own, though.

Yeah I know, playing him against this pacey Arsenal side was a terrible decision as well, he made so many mistimed tackles. It was just an emotional response.

Bit like us selling Sturridge to the Scousers!

Kind of but not really, Liverpool weren't rivaling us at the time of the sale, also there wasn't a shortage of strikers in their team.

What United have done is possibly hinder themselves getting back into the top four by selling a player to a team blocking their path solving an injury problem Arsenal had.

I don't rate Wilshere but he was very good today

Probably his best game so far but I thought he was very poor in the first half, he was almost killing the game for Arsenal he lost the ball about 5 times by trying to take players on rather than passing it, the same followed in the 2nd half to but he did have a few good highlights.

I still don't think it warranted man of the match but then again man of the match doesn't really mean crap these days.
