Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

Probably his best game so far but I thought he was very poor in the first half, he was almost killing the game for Arsenal he lost the ball about 5 times by trying to take players on rather than passing it, the same followed in the 2nd half to but he did have a few good highlights.

I still don't think it warranted man of the match but then again man of the match doesn't really mean crap these days.

You have to understand that the media has been hyping up Wilshire for a while now. People need justification for the hype, so he got the MOTM

He did the two things that stood out had City won it would have been Kompany or Silva

Anyone notice how poor Ozil was yet again?

He was atrocious at times, arsenal fans turning on him now, was citys best midfielder for 20 minutes or so  :laugh2:

Hahaha I thought they said they didn't need Fabregas cause they had him?

He's looking like as big a waste of money as Torres was for us.

From BBC site:

"Liverpool's managing director Ian Ayre proudly revealed this week that the club generated more than £50,000 from 'Balotelli-themed shirts' on the day he signed for the Reds.

"How impressive is that for a marquee signing, though? With adult shirts retailing in the Anfield club shop at £49.99 and 'Balotelli 45' costing £15, by my maths that means around 750 were sold - not great for a club with an estimated global fan base of 70m..."

Villa are sh*t, they will get nothing today. Every time you try to rely on them to beat one of our rivals they get spanked.

Sounds like Bertrand is having another great game, got an assist as well.

I'm happy for him. I think he was good enough to at least be a back up for us and as time went on and he got more experienced he may have even pushed for a regular spot.

That is true. They always give us a hard game but when they come up against our rivals they get hammered.

They have started well too so they are due a beating.

I see Brendan Rogers is moaning again, saying that he worries that Sterling will burn out having to be a key player for club and country.  Because of course he is the only player in the world who plays for club and country.  Tosser.

Only just realised Sterling's on the bench.  Poor thing.  I guess he can't be expected to play only 5 days after the last match.  (and yes, I do know they're playing CL on Tuesday, but still...........)

Lallana should be off, he clearly dived and that should be a second yellow.

Clearly Rodgers is telling his players to go down easily, it happens so often with Liverpool since he arrived.
