Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

Would love to see a mock image of Mourinho saying "How am I doing boss?" with Roman smiling down at him.

I would probably piss myself laughing

Please someone do it....  :0)

Can you post the picture, I'll try it..

We'll see, cockiness annoys me though, no team is unbeatable or unstoppable

I agree: no matter who you are, and no matter the situation, fate does not like to be tempted. It's massive bad luck to so.

Lets be perfectly honest here. The 'atmosphere' at most of the major premier league grounds has been in decline for several years, ours included.

That's what happens when you price the the longstanding support out and attract tourists, though I have no idea how they get their tickets.

Welbeck, Balotelli and Lambert were all sh*te, meanwhile Costa scored a hattrick and Remy scored within 5 minutes of coming on.

I guess its our turn to laugh at our rivals strikers.  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

edit: On a separate note, was it just me or was Ozil's performance yesterday one of, if not the worst performance you have seen from a "top player" in years? His regular turnover of possession and complete nonchalance made Torres's dark days look good by comparison.

Hogan,

Submissiveness is for weak lazars.

You're a strange lad Pete, I think as Spud said you don't tempt fate by been cocky. Why not have a little humility? I hate this kind of attitude towards anything. No matter how well a team is playing there is always going to be those games where it doesn't work out and City are more than capable of beating us. We all had a go at that Gooner last season on here for been a cocky bar steward saying Arsenal would hammer Wigan cause they had the previous season. But as it was the game was 1-1 at went to pens. Don't ever tempt fate.

Hogan,

Why deprived me of happiness? It has been a long time since I saw Chelsea playing so well and scoring. I am not cocky at all. I believe, Chelsea is just playing exactly as I have been awaiting for a long time. Of course, there's the possibility of dropping games and I am mindful of it. I am riding on clouds at the instant. That's all.

Same here. I'm just saying keep your feet on the floor.

Anyway getting away from that seen that twat Rio Ferdinand on the front page of the son saying he was "betrayed by stupid JT and Ashley Cole". Cry me a f**king river!

Hogan,

This c**t is paid to stimulate discussions. It's pathetic on part of news. Over the years, Chelsea has been the team to abuse, drivel about. You know, oil money, bought trophies..etc.

On that point is more reason to stick it to them now. No mercy, hammer them all. Win the PL, undefeated, score 110 goals..

Been talking to a few Arsenal mates of mine on the football chat facebook group (if you wanna join just PM me could do with a few more Chelsea folk on there) and I asked the question about Ozil. They still seem to think he'll come good and the only reason he isn't now us because he's not playing in CM. Anyone else feel like he's their Torres? Where they live in hope rather than expectation?

^ It's easy to suggest that Ozil is not adjusting to the physical side of the English game but Getman league football is similar in style to our game and yesterday's game was between two footballing teams. I don't know why he's not performing but you'd imagine that he needs to come good this season.

He does need to for sure, especially for that price tag.

If I could, Ozil was never a player to run a full 90 minutes at Real consistently. Wenger was under enormous pressure and bought him for an overpriced sum. Nowadays, he plays him constantly. This feeble figure is not meant to take on so much, I feel.

It's pretty simple, he's playing out on the wings. You don't spend that much on a number 10 and then shove them out on the wing. I think him playing there has drained his confidence as well.

Not sure Wenger decided to change from last season, he was putting in good performances and creating a lot of chances when he was playing in his preferred position.

In theory he should get more space out wide though, and more time on the ball. Clearly he doesn't really put in the defensive work to provide enough cover to be a long-term option on that side (not that he plays particularly wide), but there is no reason he would be any more isolated than if he played behind the striker. David Silva took a season to really hit form as well; he generally plays on the left, and is now arguably the best player in the league.

Yesterday Silva played in the #10 role and was man-marked out of the game by Flamini. He didn't really get any time on the ball until the last five minutes when Arsenal brought on Oxlade-Chamberlain and became more stretched, which a tiring Flamini couldn't really cope with, which is why I assume Wenger brought on Arteta right at the end.

True, but Liverpool are the only ones who have this ridiculous "special atmosphere" nonsense surrounding them, trying to convince everyone they are the best and loudest fans in the world. So I feel we should point and laugh a bit more.
