Bayern and Roma to go.

No Toure or Fernandinho.

Extremely unlikely.

City look a world away from the team they were last season. There's a certain malaise there from the players to the fans.

Agreed. This is where you do lose patience as these players (City's) are top drawer and in some cases world class. They are assembled and paid at great cost and are being turned over by all om the CL.

no chance, they've gotta play bayern without toure, and fernandino, and go to roma, not the best place in the world looking for a result to go your way!

they are just not very good in europe.

Bayren through can rest players, and Roma sh*t though

I am lost for words tonight and as you all know me by now that doesn't happen often, I love a long message or two. The joint worst performance since the Sheikh took over along with the Wigan, FA Cup final, I think he's lost the dressing room judging from that display.

On a positive note we are that shiite that we might end up bottom of the group, Meaning no Europa League and possibly a miraculous title challenge.

Roma are a good team.

Bayern beat city without Robben or Ribery last time. They will coast Bundesliga, they don't need to rest anyone.

Well he's the one who had a dig at them yesterday and then his teamed performed even worse, so if he doesn't want to, shouldn't have got involved.

He didn't have a dig; the press asked him about liverpool and he said he'd never field a weak side.

I can't see past Bayern or Real this year, again. I think Barcelona are weaker, not stronger, and I think we can go a long way, but reaching the final will be a big ask if i'm honest.

Maybe a season in the Europa League would do City some good, gives them a bit of confidence if they win it.

Don't knock it til you try it!

Amsterdam in May 2013 was a brilliant weekend.. and that was before we won the Europa League with the last kick of the match.

Teams like Spurs and Everton shouldn't be turning their noses up at the tournament. The Thursday night fixtures are irritating but it is worth it for a European final.

I went crazy when Ivanovic scored that goal and almost had a heart attack when Benfica nearly scored a minute later.

People knock this competition but it feels so good when you win it.

Something we all can agree on.

It is from an LFC Youtube channel (soz) but it made me laugh...

I'm surprised Liverpool fans don't love him. He's in love with Gerrard, he says everyone likes Brendan Rodgers, he's always saying their fans create a great atmosphere and whenever he talks about Liverpool he makes out that they are this wonderful club that is everyone's second favourite team. Liverpool fans usually love hearing that kind of sh*t.
