December 7, 201411 yr I'd rather see us win the league with the opposition at full strength rather than hobbled by injuries, personally. I wish he didn't play for City but I love to see Aguerro playing, it's a privilege to see players of his ability playing in the PL. Injuries happen, it's part of the game...part of the season...City have the chance to prepare for them with backups like anyone else...if we win the title, it won't be tainted at all..noone gives a sh*t that Costa has been struggling since day one...besides the way city got frank and somehow have huge turnover, more than us, so quickly despite being a small club in the grand scheme of things (doing nothing in Europe/on global scale), stinks...so while I have sympathy for Aguero the man, I have none for that club
December 7, 201411 yr Maybe in the press later...though yesterday City were saying it would take a few days before they could scan it properly...which suggests a lot of swelling

December 7, 201411 yr just looking at this week's champions league and the various consequences - if Liverpool end up in the Europa League they'd really need to try and win it to get into the Champions League next season, can't see them getting a top 4 berth the way they are playing currently
December 7, 201411 yr Apparently Andre Villas-Boas is one of the names put forward by the Liverpool Board to succeed Brendan Rodgers. He was only 2 points off second I think. He'd be joint 3rd with West Ham, but I still think it's all speculation and that Rodgers is safe for now. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2292140-andre-villas-boas-reportedly-targeted-as-brendan-rodgers-liverpool-replacement http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/414127/REVEALED-Liverpool-to-REPLACE-Brendan-Rodgers-with-former-Chelsea-boss-Andre-Villas-Boas http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2146603/Andre-Villas-Boas-talk-Liverpool-managers-job.html I think AVB would be perfect for Liverpool. What an excellent choice.
December 7, 201411 yr I'm having a right argument with a Gooner and a closet a Gooner on my facebook Football chat page. Basically I'm saying that you can't call Arsenal's Premier League side of 03-04 'Invincible' or 'Unbeatable' as they did lose games. They're having none of it, f**king idiots.
December 7, 201411 yr What are people's opinions on Roberto Martinez now with the way this season is going - do you think last season was a one off for Everton or is it a case of Europa League games having an affect? I haven't actually seen much of Everton this season, apart from our 6-3 win, but some of their results have surprised me and I didn't think they would be in the bottom half of the table. They have the players to be doing better. Europa League is having an effect aswell as players been out of form or are just a year older (i.e. Distin), although I still think Martineznis a good manager and with some proper investment may be able to show truly how good he is or isn't. I think if they fail to qualify for Europe next season it will be a blessing in disguise for them. But last season may have been a one off, funny were they in last seasons form they'd probably be in the top three right now.

December 7, 201411 yr Wow... This fan mutiny at Arsenal is getting extreme. Look at this sh*t, even we didn't yell at our own players, telling them to "get out while you can" when we had Benitez.
December 7, 201411 yr That's really nasty, I don't like the guy but jeez. Those fans need to get a life.
December 7, 201411 yr I honestly think Wenger should walk out and leave Arsenal to implode. Paris Saint-Germain would snap him up in a flash.
December 7, 201411 yr AVB will never manage in the Premier League again. He hates it here. He'll never succeed in England.

December 7, 201411 yr Hope you reminded him of Wayne bridge at highbury...they proved pretty beatable that night Of course. They also lost to Boro in the League Cup, United in the Shield & FA Cup plus another game or two in Europe.

They weren't booing him seven months ago when they won the fa cup and were giving it large that they were on the verge of greatness...sh*te fans...barely made a noise even when they had a top side Edited December 7, 201411 yr by The Brit
December 7, 201411 yr http://talksport.com/football/liverpool-kit-leak-first-look-reds-201516-new-balance-strip-141207127801 This is f***king hideous; if they do wear this next season I'll not be able to stop laughing. This kit and AVB?
December 7, 201411 yr It will be fun when we play West ham, big Sam got them going pretty well. We will pass it along the grass and they will loft the ball sky high, would be a fun aerial battle of JT/Cahill/Ivan/Matic versus Carol/Nolan etc.
December 8, 201411 yr Of course. They also lost to Boro in the League Cup, United in the Shield & FA Cup plus another game or two in Europe. just ask your goonie buddies how come they haven't won a European Cup - that should end the coversation right there
December 8, 201411 yr Honest to god thought that Claude was going to swing for the merchandise mannequin for a moment there. Brilliant.....best call yet !

December 8, 201411 yr There have been some shocking decisions this weekend but the worst 3 for me all occurred in the City game. A very soft penalty given, whilst two very dangerous high kicks which wouldn't look out of place in a kung fu movie were only worthy of a yellow. Mangala to the kidneys and Fernando to the head were both worthy of straight reds.
December 8, 201411 yr It is always sad when any player gets a long term injury, especially someone as good as Aguero. It is also stupid to pretend that this will not be a major factor in the title race. We can be sad for Aguero but be happy for ours selves. There's no disgrace in that! While wishing injury is one thing, talking about how an already current injury benefits us is another.

December 8, 201411 yr Says alot that those Gooners are arguing about how good they were a decade ago - it's almost Scouse-like.
