unbelievable the decisions city got in that game.

Just seen that and have to agree. The penalty was soft as anything and how City didn't get two red cards I don't know. It was De Jong in the World Cup all over again.

Also have to say Claude is becoming quite a celebrity, at this rate he might actually be able to get Wenger fired.

Claude for next Arsenal manager!

Nope Claude might know a thing or two - IMHO le voyeur is doing what he does best - being the specialist of failure

Even though we lost and City won, if Aguero is out for at least a month then i'd say I feel more confident now about our chances of winning the title this season than before this weekend.

That depends on if refs keep giving them an easy ride of it again like today.

claude seems quite passionate about the club tbf. Plus i think he has quite a sad backstory

To be fair, you can see that the Wenger/team situation is killing some of the lads interviewed. Claude is genuinely distressed.

However, Gooner fans (not the younger ones admittedly) have known good times and they need to deal with where they are.

Ronaldo is brilliant at the moment, but in all honesty, i'm getting bored with La Liga now. I don't know if anyone feels the same, it just seems that no one is even giving real madrid a game any more. However, i don't know whether this is down to the quality of the teams in the league, or real madrid are just that good. I am starting to think it's the former, but many people say their league is stronger than the premier league, so i don't know. I personally feel that the EPL is a stronger league, with lower teams having more finances to aquire much higher quality players, and it's very physical, which takes a lot out of players. In my opinion, i don't think Real madrid would have the same success in the EPL, but that's a whole different thing.

So the whole arsenal defence made an incredible 1 tackle during yesterdays game  :laugh2:

I prefer it to when Barca wee dominating but there in lies the problem, other than last season and Valencia donkeys ago it's one team (either Real or Barca) that are dominating the league. It's a better standard than the SPL but it's the same story.

Watching Stoke vs Arsenal, the decision to not allow the 4th goal is one of the worst I've seen. Referee's have been apalling this season.

On the other game, I thought Stoke were brilliant first half, but they really eased off in the second. But I am glad a Arsenal fought back only to lose anyway as it was very enjoyable to see them heartbroken again by the end, can't stand that club. It definitely helped ease the pain of our defeat.

What did MOTD say about us last night? I didn't watch it

I think they painted us as a one man team with Matic.

Shearer was grinning the whole program. Painful to watch.

Goals on Sunday is a better way to see the highlights. Ben and Kammy are fantastic.

I do enjoy watching the meltdowns but the guy clearly loves the club and if we were in that position then I'm sure many of us would feel the same.

It gets worse season by season, it's just bloody stupid now.

How just how can you not give red cards for those challenges in the City game then award such a sh*tty penalty. The referee inconsistency is ridiculous. Well actually is it? Because are consistently sh*t lately.

The funniest thing is that a gruff old cockney like him is called Claude. You'd expect Sid or Alf but Claude?.

Latest rumour I heard is that Aguero has a suspected Cruciate tear. I know we see an injury to one of the best players in the world as a bit of a win for us but I really do hope it’s not that seriouse. He’s got a nasty streak but he’s far from being a c**t and a brilliant footballer. If we can’t win the title with Aguero fit in the city team then we don’t deserve to win the thing

yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhh

He done well not to hit the black lad with the water bottle. The chap with the water bottle thinks he plays for arsenal with all the gear he is. Saying that he'd probably get a game

Some classy fans on here, I love it, I just can't feel the same way though unfortunately.

It's true I am a bit of a c**t, that's probably an understatement as well, but I will take anything I can get because I just want to win this title more than anything, much rather have Aguero injured than have him tearing up teams all the time.

If City do win that title Aguero will have played the biggest part of it, the longer he is out the better for me.

Apparently the little fella is now known as the human megastore  :laugh2:

I only said the other day that aguero was due an injury (I wasn't hoping for it) and then he gets one. He just seems like he can't go more than a few weeks without picking up one. I feel sorry for him as he can't catch a break, but if It was one of our players who had suffered a similar fate, I know most opposition fans would be licking their lips in joy.

Wishing injury on a player makes you a twat in my book. Especially as he doesn't seem to be a nasty guy, bar a couple of times the red mist has descended, which happens to us all.

I hate the mentality whereby if opposition fans want our players to get injured, we should do the same back at them. Ridiculous.

I don't wish injury on Aguero, but I do accept that it's a part of the game and throughout the season every team will get them so I also don't intend to shed any tears over it.

I'd rather see us win the league with the opposition at full strength rather than hobbled by injuries, personally. I wish he didn't play for City but I love to see Aguerro playing, it's a privilege to see players of his ability playing in the PL.

That's a ridiculous red card for Fabianski for Swansea in my opinion. Yes he fouled the West Ham player, but he had his advantage and he hit the post, just because he misses it shouldn't mean he SHOULD get another chance. He had his advantage and messed it up.

Yesterday was depressingly poor. Carbon copy of the first half against Stoke last week. Very little movement or imagination, only last week the second half was far better. This week it remained dirge until Gerrard came on, and showed that although he can't last a full match quite as well these days he's still our best player and by some way.

Strange days compared to last season. The return of Sturridge will be like a new signing for us if maybe he can stay fit for longer than a warm-up. Problem is there seem to be so many other areas of weakness that his return alone will not cure all.

When I told Mr Pink Jnr last week that my mate couldn't go so I'd be taking him with me, he looked at me as if to say 'why, what have I done wrong this time'?. Although he did enjoy it a bit in the end.

What I would say is that I liked what Rodgers did when defending a corner. Instead of getting everyone back in the area (like most people hate as there's zero pressure release) he left three pacy lads on the half way line, which meant Sunderland couldn't commit as many to attacking the corner, which seemed to have the desired effect, and reduced the threat from the corners. Good move.

Now for Balse. Only option is to win, but Basle are far better than they're given credit for, and with our lack of bite up front it'll be far harder than some in the media seem to think. Taking Mr Pink jnr again so hopefully it'll be a better result for than the last CL home match. He hates seeing me cry.
