December 7, 201411 yr That's a ridiculous red card for Fabianski for Swansea in my opinion. Yes he fouled the West Ham player, but he had his advantage and he hit the post, just because he misses it shouldn't mean he SHOULD get another chance. He had his advantage and messed it up. He hit the post because he was fouled by the keeper and pushed out further wide than he would have liked. If he scores, the keeper no longer denies him a goal scoring opportunity (still a yellow for the foul though). It's harsh but correct by the rules. Edited December 7, 201411 yr by Remodez

Actually, having watching it again I don't think the ref actually gives an advantage? Looks like he's going to blow for the foul.
December 7, 201411 yr Some classy fans on here, I love it, I just can't feel the same way though unfortunately. It's true I am a bit of a c**t, that's probably an understatement as well, but I will take anything I can get because I just want to win this title more than anything, much rather have Aguero injured than have him tearing up teams all the time. If City do win that title Aguero will have played the biggest part of it, the longer he is out the better for me. I want us to win the league with Aguero fit and on song mainly because i don't want any excuses from Man City fans when we win the league. Saying that though Man City fans are pretty sh*tty so they will look for another excuse i expect.
December 7, 201411 yr City fans wouldn't shed a tear if a key player of ours got injured, so I won't worry about theirs!
December 7, 201411 yr Andy Carroll when fit and in full swing is absolutely unplayable. Playing in the best team he's ever played for, under the best manager he's ever played for. He could really step up his game and become a top 5 striker in the league.

December 7, 201411 yr Yeah the injury card might be an annoying thing to play should they end up playing it but at the end of the day glory in football is never so graceful is it. I just want that league title and it would put us in a tricky position if City retain there first Premier League title, might take something to knock them off there pedestal, I say it's best to grab it now and prove that we are a better side. Until that league title is won we haven't really proven anything as of yet, excellent start though despite the crappy loss this weekend.
December 7, 201411 yr Aston Villa v Leicester? Is there a more boring match up in the league? West Brom v Burnley would come close I suppose.
December 7, 201411 yr Going to be an interesting scrap for the 4th position this year isn't it? West Ham, Southampton, and Arsenal will be the ones fighting it out for a Champion's League spot. Manchester United will finish third or even second I'd wager.

December 7, 201411 yr That's ridiculous. Konchesky sent of for erm.....well....nothing. city players booted one in the face and one in the kidneys, yellow.

Referee's have been shocking this season, so many poor decisions, it's not even like 1 high profile one per weekend there's about 5 or 6 per weekend.m
December 7, 201411 yr I bet if we had bought Wilfried Bony 2-3 years ago like was rumored we would not have regretted it.
December 7, 201411 yr I bet if we had bought Wilfried Bony 2-3 years ago like was rumored we would not have regretted it. I can't believe we didn't go in for him, particularly after his display at Anfield which pretty much ended Agger's time as a first choice centre half. Instead we went for Mario. Good call.

December 7, 201411 yr Standard of refereeing across all levels of football is, IMO, declining rapidly. If anyone from the powers that be reads this maybe they can explain why it is so difficult to implement a set of standard rules on a consistent basis. If I repeatedly made the sort of mistakes that ref's make I would expect to lose my job, shame the same cannot be said of referee's - Mr Mariner as a point in case, one ridiculous penalty and one non red card for an assault that, if perpetrated in the street would find the assailant charged with GBH with intent.

Sorry to disappoint you but I don't think anyone from that powers that be will be on the 'Following our Nearest and Dearest' thread of the shed end
December 7, 201411 yr Apparently Andre Villas-Boas is one of the names put forward by the Liverpool Board to succeed Brendan Rodgers. He was only 2 points off second I think. He'd be joint 3rd with West Ham, but I still think it's all speculation and that Rodgers is safe for now. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2292140-andre-villas-boas-reportedly-targeted-as-brendan-rodgers-liverpool-replacement http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/414127/REVEALED-Liverpool-to-REPLACE-Brendan-Rodgers-with-former-Chelsea-boss-Andre-Villas-Boas http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2146603/Andre-Villas-Boas-talk-Liverpool-managers-job.html
