You could argue that Messi deserves credit for those two goals, so far he is untouchable hard to believe he didn't win the Balon D'or

this 442 really not working. 2 up front to try and cause problems with aerial balls is fair enough, but they aren't doing it enough, mostly because they can't get the ball because they are being totally outclassed in midfield.

 

They have no holding player, they are playing 2 flat 4s. Several times I saw the City back 4, then Messi, then the City midfield 4. No-one even picking him up, so of course with Neymar, Messi and Suarez all of whom like to drop back, they will find loads of space with no holding DM.
