Helix,

I am left almost speechless. You have corresponded with me? Lol.

I too feel, Manures need 3 or 4 players on defense & midfield urgently. Also iron fist Gaal is not as proficient as some people made out of him. To play three juniors on defense, Januzaj on the wing, perhaps, we are seeing another Moyes? Oh well, close to 150m spent on players, but the team is nowhere close to the top four.

Chelsea are a very strong side who can quite possibly turn us over in which there would be no shame. But at home we are more than capable of beating anybody. Citys spine of Hart, Kompany, Yaya, Silva, Aguero only managed 5 starts together last season without one or more of them being injured... We averaged 5-0 a game in those matches, we still won the league without that spine in tact. Just goes to show the depth we had the... We're even stronger now. Keep those 5 fit and no other side has anything close to that kind of strength. The media have been all over Chelsea declaring them favourites because they have finally bought a striker (Options aren't so great if he gets an injury or goes off the boil, but let's overlook that one shall we   ) where as City have just quietly got on with their business, strengthening in key positions with quality players.

We've gone under the radar which is amusing and pleasing in equal measure. Liverpool blustered for 30 mins last night without really doing anything, then we pulled them apart without ever getting out of 2nd gear. We haven't even warmed up yet, by the time we meet Chelsea at the Etihad in a couple of games time, the machine will be just about ready to roar!

Are you sure you don't want to brag about all this on your own forum? We couldn't really care less of how strong City are, we've heard it about 50 times from you.

The machine will be ready to roar? Sorry but you sound worse than a liverpool fan.

He's clearly not to experienced in football, I actually believe he's one of those City fans that started supporting the the club a few years ago, because that's not  how things work in football, footballs not just about skill it's about mentality, he should know that after his lot bottled it against Liverpool.

After his super fantastic best centreback in the world Vincent Kompany made an amazing clearance assist to Coutinho.

So looking like Arsenal need a new striker with Giroud possibly missing for three months. Gotta wonder of they'll sign someone or not, its shame he didn't get injured after the window closed. Of course they could just choose not to let Podolski go or put faith in their two young strikers.

He will now tell you he has been a life long fan and lives minutes from the ground. But i never saw him lurking around here when keegan was manager or pearce or Errikosn or Hughes

United also looking at signing Vidal by the start of next week apparently, He's 1/10 to join them on sky bet.

I should clear the odds thing up, Vidal is 1/10 to join United because there's virtually no other team in the running to sign him, Bayern Munich are 2nd faves at 16/1, 1/10 would give off the idea that the deal is done but it's more a case of if he does join anyone this summer it will be United with no one else willing to take the risk of signing a £40 million player with knee problems. Juventus have to keep hold of him if they have any ambitions, Letting Conte go was bad enough.

Completely off topic but just how funny is that picture the mail online are using of Iain Moody staring across at Malky Mackay in the dug out? Lol He looks like a right spastic.

He does but please don't use that word mate - this is a decent forum.

You would think they would have learnt a lesson or two after Hargreaves, but I see them signing him for a ridiculous amount & putting him on £200k+ with 5days left in the window.

Well United fans cannot bleat about any other team buying success now can they?

Mata - £37 million

Fellaini - £27 million

Shaw - £27 million

Herrera - £20 odd million

Di Maria - £59 million

Rojo - £18 million

Vidal? - £30-40 million you would think...

So that will be well over £200 million while still requring a pair of world class centre backs....

Granted city's strength up front is strong, but lack of faith and conceding the title to them is disappointing to see...we beat this lot home and away last season ffs

Hardly conceding the title Brit. It will be a very close run thing I'm sure but I think Citeh's superior fire power up front gives them the advantage at this moment. They have one of the top four strikers in the world and the strength in depth to cope if he is out for any period of time. We don't have that and we only have six days left to try and strengthen that area.

Yes we beat them twice last season but we also lost to Palace, Sunderland, Stoke and failed to beat WBA in two games.

it's more they make a big deal about where the money comes from

Yes but they are spending their 'Own' money, They didn't require some sugar daddies money, That's what they will throw back at us unfortunately.

I've said it many times, Aguero is the best player in the league, I said that even last season and the season before when there was the likes of Bale and Suarez having the seasons of there lives.

I just hope Aguero doesn't have his, he's the only massive threat for City I believe that can make a huge difference, maybe I am stupid in not including Toure but I can see him going downhill, I could be wrong though.
