Willian probably would score more too had he been playing up front like sterling. No doubt he is good for his age but there is so much better out there.. Reus/Greizzman

I agree. I think FSG will take some kind of 'strong' stance that will just draw the situation out.

Personally I think £35 million is the most they'd get.

They aren't in a position of strength here. To loose him on a free in 18 months is unthinkable and Raheem is young enough to bide his time. If they don't play him the asset is essentially worthless any way. there best hope is a biding war. 

He has a much better football brain than those 2. If he had come through our youth team, every chelsea fan would be raving about him.

His price is far more of an issue than quality for me, or should I say value for money.

Beggars and choosers. They can spout off about taking a tough stance to the media, but no CL next year and financially they need a boost.

Now in terms of us getting us, that's a tough one. In reality City and us have the most to gain from his addition. Arsenal and united are ridiculously over stocked here but won't stop them I'm guessing.

Rooney/ferdinand 11 and 15 years ago ... lets look at it pragmaticly, it puts him in soldardo territory, or lamela territory. Half a dimaria less then a Juan Mata, about the same as a luke shaw

Well yeah i would take him over willian or cuadrado, but unfortunately we flushed over 50 million down the toilet on those two transfers (maybe less so on wilian, but still a waste of money) and now we could be looking at another winger for nearly 40 million! it really would make no sense.

But lets take that aside, Cuadrado certainly has done nothing of note to date and there is a very simple economic term with regards to this, it's called a sunk cost, effectively this means that you shouldn't let the money spent effect you making decisions that will enhance your business and in this case the team and squad

Willian has been decent for us, and decent is enough to win leagues against decent opposition.

 

If we have aspirations to win leagues against stronger opposition (which will invariably happen) and European competitions against excellent opposition then we need better than decent.

 

But I agree with what you're saying about Sterling. If Luke Shaw is going for £30 million then Sterling is easily worth the same.

Prefer Griezman because he can score goals. If you look at our goal,scoring from open play its costa and hazard

Willian, fabregas, matic would struggle to get 10 between them and Ramires hardly scored this season.
