Chelsea vs Everton (PL) 11/02/2015 KO: 1945 GMT

Featured Replies

At home to a struggling Everton side who have just 1 win in 6 games. Feeling optimistic about this one much more than the Villa game. However, we shouldn't get complacent.

We are playing on Wednesday evening so I assume some of the squad will be rotated. Cuadrado, Zouma and Remy to come in for Willian, Cahill and Didi.

Man City have to go to Stoke, and adding to that 7 point gap will be a huge bonus.

---------------Courtois

Ivanovic - Zouma - Terry - Azpi

----Fabregas*-Matic

Cuadrado - Oscar - Hazard

---------------Remy

*Hopefully fit enough to start

Should be winning this.

Please, god, let Cesc play.  :laugh2:  I wouldn't watch Ramires again.

Must win obviously. If we win here, we are 90% champions. Next matches are easier. Furthermore City will lose at Mordor.

Same team I guess unless fab and or Luis are fit. I'd go for zouma but it will pi** Cahill if he's dropped again.

Maybe give cuadrado 30 minutes this time

We all know the procedure by now, this team has played absolutely toilet all season but Wednesday will be their cup final so expect a difficult game. Love to see Cuadrado start

Courtois

Ivanovic

Cahill (He was good against Aston Villa, he should stay)

Terry

Azpi

Matic

Fabregas

Cuadrado

Willian

Hazard

Remy

Everton is not the same team like last year, but I still think this team is a "mine" for big teams. Would be hard without Costa but hopefully Remy would start and will affect on the game, come on CHELS!

Its the prem ive wanted for chelsea this year and the visit of everton will put us into an excellent lead at the top knowing weve done it without the wildman who will come back to ensure us the trophy

Everton showed against Liverpool they do not have the same weak defense we punished so heavily at Goodison. Think this will be a much tighter game that they will be happy to sit back and counter on.

Honestly not sure what I would like to see for the line up, hope Cesc is fit for the game though.

if jose starts drogba again after that abysmal performance, lol smh

gotta go full pace on this one, and fabregas coming back will be a huge difference from our last two poor games

Tricky one for City at Stoke in midweek?

Really decent chance of increasing that lead.....

Really really hope so but I think City will beat Stoke because people are expecting them to drop points

I'm just glad they dropped points at the weekend, get sick of their players been in the media going on about how they have clawed back gaps before. They really should just concentrate on matters on the pitch like we do.

Remy & Fab to replace Rami & Drogs, 2 - 0 Haz & Remy.

Courtois
Ivan Cahill Terry Dave
Matic Fabregas
Willian Oscar Hazard
Remy

Must win game in my opinion

Would really help if we can create an atmosphere similar to the Liverpool one the other Tuesday!!!!!!! Lets hope everyone can be arsed to get out their seat and crank it up again?

I have noticed that at midweek  the atmosphere is much, much better than at the week end. I hope it's not going to be an exception.

Barry, Besic and Mccarthy will be struggling in the middle. If Fabregas is fit, I would play with him, Ramires and Matic and 4-3-3. But it's unlikely.

Hazard must lead the team to victory. And he will do it.

Last year's game was brilliant I thought, nothing better than a last minute goal, although we haven't had many this season probably because we're usually winning by the end. I think this will be a lot more comfortable, they've definitely improved defensively but it seems like they really struggle with creativity and getting the ball into Lukaku. Also, Stoke seem to be City's bogey team of recent years, so even a draw would be great for us if we win

Well we wouldn't want you to 'lol' or 'smh' so let's hope Jose is reading your pearls of wisdom or we might be in big trouble.

My guess would be jose was never going to start Remy 3 times in the space of 11 days so Drogba played against villa to keep things fresh and Remy will start against Everton.

lol smh

Lol smh.

Also, I'm hoping Mourinho keeps the goalkeeper competition high and gives cech a shot after tibo's poor performance. I'm hoping to see:

Cech

Ivan/Zouma/Terry/Azpilicueta

Matić/Fabregas

Cuadrado/Oscar/Hazard

Remy

So we're dropping youngsters after one poor performance now?

I agree with your team selection but I think it sends an incredibly distasteful message to the youngsters at the club if Courtois gets dropped.
