Chelsea fans racially abuse a man on the Paris Metro

Featured Replies

Oh he blames Chelsea alright....

"I felt truly wounded to the bottom of my heart that I really couldn't believe it," said Mr Sylla in an interview with the BBC. "Of course it's Chelsea's responsibility. It's their supporters.

"They (the fans) didn't say Paris, they said Chelsea. Chelsea should call my lawyer. And they haven't done that yet. It's their supporters. The director general of PSG has called my lawyer but Chelsea haven't contacted my lawyer."

It could be argued that any claim he has is with Paris Metro who failed to control passengers on their network. I would sincerely hope that Chelsea FC whilst regretting the incident pay him the princely sum of nothing.

Reminds me of the Ferdinand brothers. Instead of constantly talking about it he should just try to move on.
Can't see this constant moaning to the press help him get passed all of this.

He, as well as the Ferdinands seems to like the attention and this man seems to be looking for some financial restitution.

It's a horrible thing that happened but at some point you will need to try to get on with your life.

They offered him a free ticket and no doubt free stay in a swish hotel to tonight's game by way of apology on behalf of the club for the behaviour of our fans.

He's declined that offer, which is his right but he shouldn't come cap in hand expecting a financial pay out for emotional scaring or whatever because frankly that's bullsh*t.

By his logic it means that Levis, for example, are also responsible (assuming a fan was wearing that brand of jeans).  After all, they are only customers of Chelsea, just like they are customers of  any other brand they give money to.

Clarkson is a Chelsea supporter - should just blame him for everything.

Season ticket holder in the Millennium Suites. I also sat about 10ft away from him in the Citeh semi at Wembley a few years ago.

What a massive bellend. If you don't want to go to London that's fair - but to suggest that Chelsea is trying to buy you? Outrageous.

Shocked to see that Stan Collymore hasn't weighed in yet by the way. Can't wait to hear his opinion.

Must say I think he's actually disrespecting Chelsea here, the club and true fans should not be tarred with the same brush as those that pushed him off the train. I'll probably get flamed for this but sees to me he's milking it.

Well I'm done feeling sorry for him. Such a shame as if he'd acted with a little more grace about it all an even more powerful anti-racism message could have been sent.

Now if I saw him getting on my train tomorrow there'd be a part of me that would want to shove him right back off myself.

Going by the footage ive seen, only one fella "pushed" was it really a push? him off the train & it didnt look like he was even singing the racist chant.

He should get this in perspective, He was pushed of a train, not a cliff or high building in IS territory

So plod have applied for banning orders to the 5 lads on the train, what a load of bollocks, as far as i could see apart from one fella the other 4 didnt do anything, even the one fella didnt do that much.

Normal guilty by association when it comes to football fans, they get a ban CFC will then ban them for life & all for f**k all.

Sound advice to Mr Souleymane from an African gentleman by the name of Alex:

Grow up and move on, i am African living outside my country also, i hv been asked to vacate my seat on a bus, taxis hv refused to stop for me but white skin passengers beside me, that did not kill my morale nor make me less human, i hv reported several of these incidents over the phone to the customer complaint dept. Of supervising org. But i refused to dwell to much on the incident. U might not like football, so going to stamford bridge might not interest you. But i believe the club are trying to show u what they are and stand for, not by the stupid few fans.

Stood on lego can't go to work tomorrow. :good2:

So how much would I get, or more to the point the lawyers, for standing on an upturned dog grooming brush; I had to go to A&E.
