Hull City vs Chelsea (PL) 22/03/2015 KO: 16:00 GMT

I don't get this Cuadadro needs to start, what you mean is you want him to start.

Personally only changes I'd make is to bring Zouma in for Cahill and Luis in for Ivanovic

No, he needs to start. Willian and Oscar are massively out of form.

Couldn't really give a f**k who starts as long as we win.

Perfect opportunity to start Cuadrado, he can't play worse than those two.

I think Oscar needs a shot of confidence, and maybe a game against Hull is what he needs.

Is Ivan indeed suspended?

We need to play Cuadrado for a FULL game, after this we can decide whether or not he's worth starting.

Takes more than one game to form a proper assessment of a player.

I think we'll win this game. I'm confident after 2 average performances that we are going to turn this around.

KTBFFH.

I really want to see this

Courtois

Azpi-Zouma-Terry-Luis

Fabregas-Matic

Cuadrado-Hazard-Willian

Costa

And hopefully more than a 2 goal win.

I would be curious to see our lineup here as I think we could play better with a few tweaks than with our accepted 'best XI'. Hull will play three fairly inert centre backs, with two wing-backs and likely a midfield three. As such I would play a fairly aggressive 4-2-3-1 with a very mobile front three and Hazard playing behind the striker, with the runners on the flanks (and Costa) creating spaces for Hazard to create havoc.

This would mean, however, the absence of Oscar, so we would likely have to play a midfield two of Matic and Ramires in order to adequately protect the defence, which would mean effectively dropping Fabregas, which might be a poor signal to make in light of his reception against Southampton.

This also seems like a game for Zouma (physicality, potential of playing against a front two), and in light of the fact that Hull will only have one man on either flank, I would also start our most attacking full-backs. That means:

-----------------------Courtois

Ivanovic------Zouma------Terry-------Luis

-----------------Ramires-----Matic

-----Cuadrado------Hazard------Willian

-------------------------Costa

Subs:

Cech, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Aké, Fabregas, Oscar, Rémy

Hull have the beginnings of a good squad, but their first XI is, to be perfectly honest, quite poor, and I haven't seen them genuinely play well for a long time. If we play our cards right we could absolutely thrash them.

The midfield control that was so superb in the 1st half of the season Matic & Fab (assists galore) has gone titz up

doesn't matter what happens if the oppo control it (like Soton 1st half & PSG 2nd leg) then this team struggles, long balls

are like pissing in the wind with nobody to knock them down or get on the end of them

Man u have had the same problem but have been exceptionally jammy all season where as with CFC  no such luck -

look at all these defo pens declined left right & center and the perceived biased by the refs

To progress confidentially towards the title this team needs an in form Matic & Fab, 2nd half Soton Rambo came in and did a job

for Matic but as we all know hes inconsistent, but Matic has been lately too, not many options there unfortunately

other players need to step it up - Oscar, Costa, etc.

Suzy Quadrado looks a bit lost when hes  sub'd on, cant even get into any game - but only a very few players manage to hit the ground running

in the prem, and I dont see him suddenly coming on fire and scoring/ assisting lots , but it is early days for him

I know the manager sees this and the defensive issues and shyte I /we haven't even considered, have the players got the minerals to push on ?

lets stay optimistic- in 2010 it came down to the last game beat Wigan and win the prem, probably get just as close if things dont get fixed soon, but

am still confident that a 6-9 point lead may just be enough over 10 games

Also think our midfield has been bullied a bit lately think it needs to muscle up a touch thats why i would nt mind seeing zouma have the DM roll allowing Matic to push up a little and letting cesc play the nr 10 and a front 3 of Hazard Costa Willian..

                 Courtois

      Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry

Ramires-Fabregas-Matic-Luis

      Willian-Costa-Hazard

We should try 3-4-3

Courtois

Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry

Ramires-Fabregas-Matic-Luis

Willian-Costa-Hazard

We should try 3-4-3

Lol title run ins are not the time to try alien systems !

I would like to see us try 4-4-3 to get the midfield a bit more solid.

             Courtois

Ivan   Zouma Terry  Dave

              Matic

      Fabergas  Ramires

Willian                    Hazard

            Costa

The betting odds suggest we have an unassailable lead. Hopefully City will give their all in the Nou Camp tonight and, like Arsenal, come away with nothing. They should then drop more points at the weekend

                           Courtois

Aziplicueta     Cahill             Terry           Luis

                 Matic               Fabregas

Cuadrado                Oscar               Hazard

                             Costa

Time to win, nothing more.

I'd like to see this XI:

Courtois

Ivanovic

Zouma

Terry

Luis

Matic

Fabregas

Cuadrado

Willian

Hazard

Costa/Remy = Hard to choose, because Remy need games and Costa just returned to score and he might continue this.

I like this team. Our best team going forward imo. Costa to start, a rest never seems to do him any good.
