Diego "the guv'nor" Costa

Costa 3 game ban, don't know what you guys were waiting for. He hit Koscienly 2 times, and then pushed him on the ground. I'm all for bullying defenders and imposing yourself, winding them up and stuff, but that was nothing like that. That was Costa hitting a guy with no reason and it's a red card, if you don't see that you have a problem.

United fan wasn't you?

So here's where the issue is, it's the lack of consistency.

The below incident was missed by Mark Clattenberg, on reviewing the incident Clattenberg and the FA felt there was no need for retrospective action.

That's a lot worse than anything Diego did against Arsenal and yet he's given a retrospective 3 match ban.

8o'clock in the morning and this idiot is back, is your life so hollow and without meaning you pathetic mess.

Can anyone identify the moment football became so pathetic, prissy, crap and bitchy that it now belongs more in the pages of Hello! And OK! Type magazines than on the pitch? I can barely be bothered to watch it anymore, the match itself us now almost a sideshow to the of field sh*te.

It's not worse. he went with elbow. Costa went with open palm. Twice and then throw him on the ground.

Rooney should have been banned. I'm not saying I know how they make this calls but that in the Costa incident they made the right one.

But come on, the FA is against Chelsea ? Is this rawk?

Your on another teams board posting sh*t that no one cares about and you don't find that odd? Only a c**t or loser does this type of thing, very RAWKish

Good find FC.

Yet again it is the inconsistency of the FA. Refs and officials will always make mistakes. We moan about them but I think we can all appreciate what a difficult job they have - having to make a decision having seen the incident at normal speed ONCE, with the sheer speed of the game and players trying to con them at the same time. BUT there is no excuse for the FA to f**k things up retrospectively. They have all the time in the world to watch countless slow motion replays and then look as previous similar incidents and make sure punishments are consistent. It's time for change NOW. It may have been adequate 30 years ago when the game was different and wasn't scrutinized like it is now. We all deserve better now, we all want justice - players, coaches and supporters alike. How difficult can it be to form a panel of ex-refs and ex players who look at any decisions like this and come up with the RIGHT one.

The FA - f**king dinosaurs.

So you must think Gary Neville is an idiot? He's clearly come out and said it wasn't worth a ban.

Nop. I just think he is wrong.

No matter what United legend says something, I have this thing, were I think. and make up my own opinion about things that happen. You should try it, and stop hanging on every word Mou says.

If it was Rooney hitting Zouma like that, would you be calling for a red card. Honest answer.

Yet you qoute every single post I make.

Yet you qoute every single post I make.

Ya because I was responding to the fact a fan from another team is a big enough c**t or loser to get on a Chelsea board and try to act high and mighty. Is that so hard to understand?

I didn't say the FA is against Chelsea, you're making up your own narrative.

To suggest an elbow into the ear/temple of a player isn't as bad as having your hands on an opponents face is laughable. Just contrast the reactions of the players on the receiving end of both incidents.

Once again what we've seen is a lack of consistency from the FA with how they deal with retrospective punishment.

What's the reasoning of Gabriel having his red card rescinded when he involved himself with Costa, not the other way round and then making Matic serve a two match ban for pushing over a player who had just gone in studs up on his shin, a challenge we've seen break player's legs before?

Likewise, Rooney escapes punishment for elbowing a playing in the head but Costa is issued a 3 match ban for... Well, we don't actually know yet and I'm sure the full reasoning will never be made known to supporters.

Similarly we had an incident where Charlie Adam swung an elbow at Andre Schurrle not once but twice whilst shepherding the ball out of play and it went unpunished.

I'm don't tend to watch games besides Chelsea and so that's why my examples are of games involving us but even when looking at just Chelsea the inconsistencies are glaring and the comments from Mark Hughes highlight that even managers are mystified at how the FA are coming to these disciplinary decisions.

Honest Question after you insult me? f**k off you miserable c**t

I don't act high and mighty. I know banter is banned on the training ground but is it banned here to?

Why is everybodie involved with Chelsea so mad and angry. geez, man you are the champions on England. you know how hard that is ? relax dude, and try to calm down.

Nope just having a laugh at the fact your such a miserable c**t that you spend your mornings on an opposing board insulting posters, then expect to be well received? Not angry at all just tired of c**ts like you constantly coming on here and having a go at Costa when United have had a long history of dirty and crazy players.

Well not you but On this forum is all about how the FA is bent...

Of course I'm bias man....but on the other hand, I can find a lot of examples like you did. Not only with Chelsea players, but with all the teams in the League. Every team gets f**ked by football, ref, FA from time to time.

The thing is there is no campaign against Chelsea. And Costa deserves his 3 game ban.

Check last season's evidence including the type of emotive language used in the press.

You acknowledge yourself that your biased towards your own team but then have come onto a rivals forum and call people out for being biased about their own team, on their own forum.

Surely you can see just how backwards that is?

I agree every team gets their fair share of good and bad decisions but when the FA are stepping in and re-officiating incidents there needs to be a sense of consistency with what they are doing, especially as it is away from the live, non stop environment of match days. They should be making these decisions with a clear and unbiased view of the incidents but with no clarity about how they are coming to certain conclusions and decisions it's leaving fans, managers and players confused and frustrated by the handling of it all.

Anyone seen Curtis Davies' post on twitter/instagram from last night? scratches all the way down his face. And how many Swansea players are being charged for violent conduct? none.

Is Curtis Davies complaining? No, he said it's a phsical game. Grappling, pulling, pushing between strikers and centre backs has been going on as long as football has been around. it's part and parcel, so the ban for costa is utterly ludicrous. good to see that such a well respected pundit such as G Nev agrees.

If as his manager Mourinho can't tell him to cut the crap out or bench for you then he'll continue simple as that. His aggression is a tool that can be used positively or negatively. He chose to use it negatively and that's the worry. Can Mourinho not see that he's getting more interested and involved in off the ball ruckuses? I don't get what Mourinho is playing at sometimes. He's the manager. Manage the damn situation. It's hurting the team in the long run.

A slaps now worse than elbow? Haha.....Oh man that's funny. Almost as funny as a foreign utd fan pontificating on a Chelsea forum about something he clearly knows nothing about.

How is it hurting the team exactly?

Was we not league champions last season with Diego our top goal scorer?

Was Diego not at the centre of a massive performance at the weekend picking up 3 vital points against a direct rival following the worst start to a league campaign most of us have ever witnessed?
