Arsenal v. Chelsea (PL) 26/04/2015 KO: 16:00 GMT

I'm not going to bang on about the penalties. I don't care any more. The simple fact is we demonstrated why we are so far ahead of anyone else and why we will be champions.

JT was awesome today, I thought.

First half very open and plenty of tension in both sides. Second half went as expected, although Zouma coming on threw our organisation and they had their best chance shortly after that.

Overall, well played and a very important point. Almost there now.

I thought Michael Oliver had a great game, really pleased with him. Thinking about it now, Ospina's clash should have been a penalty for violent play (FFS, Oscar is in hospital), but that wasn't that obvious on first viewing.

As much as I love Didier Drogba I think the time has come to look to one of our young guys in these situations. Solanke or Brown could have done that second half job up front and if Bamford was with us he could cover that too

I predicted our lineup before the match in another forum and though we played a great first half with a false 9. Ramires had the biggest chance, we should have atleast one penalty and a red card on Ospina because he was the last man. In second half Oscar probably still felt that Ospina challange and Drogba came on, wich was good news for a slow Mertesacker.

BBC Radio 5 live's Rob Nothman asked Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho about the chants of 'boring boring Chelsea' at the end of the game. This was the response:

"I don't think it was boring Chelsea. I think it was boring something else. The fans want to win it and they took Giroud off. The fans wanted Walcott and Giroud on together. I don't think it was boring Chelsea, it was boring Arsenal."

Boring, boring Chelsea?

10 points clear at the top.

Honestly couldn't give a sh*t about our perceived negativity. Hate is just a form of jealousy. Jealous that not one side has come close to challenging us all season.

Haven't we also scored the most goals?

Arsenal recorded one shot on target in their two league fixtures combined against Chelsea this season.”

So much for an entertaining artistic team, no?

Plus they haven't scored against us in more than 2 years, whereas we have scored 10.

Thought we were magnificent.

We mustn't underestimate the performance today.

Arsenal were on their best run for a decade, they were at home, they were buoyed by the result at Everton earlier, and they needed a win to have a shot at the title.

They couldn't do it, they didn't even come close.

We were disciplined, we were committed, we played with intelligence.

We were suffering injuries, yet, we had the best chances and we should have had at least one pen, maybe three.

JT is a hero, there is no other way to describe it. He's the best centre-half I have seen in my lifetime. He's the best captain we will ever have. Ever.

All our players were brilliant but Willian deserves a special mention.

He carried the game to them, he ran up and down, he was skilful and good in possession, and he created the chance for Ramires with an exquisite pass.

Brilliant performance today and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

Arsenal may be a team of bottlers. We never are.

Its so nice to be a Chelsea fan, we treat our ex players with respect unlike the classless Gooners who relentlessly boo their ex's whose crime is to want  some silverware in the cabinet after they have finished playing.

How will we ever replace JT!! I must say I am not enjoying this run in at all, nerve wracking to the extreme, I thought we played better today than we have for a while. Lets be up for Leicester, we owe them one!!

Does anyone think that Wenger resembles Judge Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame? I do (they're both as villainous as each other LOL).

Ian Wright on BBC 5Live thinks the ref made the right call for the decision on Oscar. Ok, fair enough, he's entitled to his opinion..............but his reason why he thinks the ref was right not to give it is laughable. He thinks that because Oscar got to the ball first, a penalty shouldn't be given. Uhh, hold on, if Oscar get's to the ball first and is then taken out, that isn't a penalty ??? That makes no sense.

If the attacker get's to the ball first and is then taken out, IT IS ALWAYS A PENALTY !!!! Is Ian Wright thick or something ?
