What TV Show Are You Waarching?

Featured Replies

Think I might give Eden a go tonight at 9, starts on Channel 4.

Seems to be a show about people starting a civilisation on an island for 12 months.

Did you watch The Island? I'm guessing it will be a similar format.

Netflix's Stranger Things, 4 episodes in and really enjoying it. Actually feels like it was made in the 80s.

Finished it over the weekend. The story is ok but not great, though that 80s vibe is fantastic.

Also finished The Man in the High Castle last week. Obviously the book is better but it is still a good tv show.

Did you watch it? I caught 30 mins of it. Quite interesting but it's annoying how they gave them loads of tools and basically everything they need. Gave them way too much stuff.

Considering the whole concept is about starting again, they didn't do it too well resource wise.

I did watch the Island yeah, enjoyed it a lot!

Yep watched it all. I suppose they need a starting kit to get going or they would never last a month, but yeah they've been helped a lot. I like how they have various skilled people to do different things and make it work. The blonde girl seems useless, doesnt want to do anything. The guy building the winter house seems annoying but he is most likely correct in what he is doing ?

^ Charierre, thanks for posting. The advert is wonderful. Shows that nothing is impossible. Before the last Olympics there was a drama on the BBC about the origins of the Paralympic Games (formally the Stoke Mandeville Games) after WW2. It was called The Best of Men and had Eddie Marsan playing Dr. Ludwig Guttman. Worth watching if you get a chance.

Will look out for that thanks.

Yeah he is annoying but he's right. The people are daft not to listen to him. The show hasn't quite delivered on what it promised but it's decent so far.

The whole "starting from scratch" line doesn't quite work when they've effectively been given expensive Berghaus outdoor clothes, food, animals, cooking gear, bedding and their own branch of B&Q.

I still kind of liked it though. Will probably get much better when they start running out of food and it starts snowing.

I enjoyed the second series so far, the third episode was really good.

Yeah was superb, very weird and disturbing.

Does anyone watch Justified? A while ago I gave up on it half way through season 1.

Given it another go and have just started season 4. Really like it and can see why it's so highly rated.

Yeah Justified is great. Raylan is one cool bar steward.

Started watching Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip as I wanted to watch something written by Sorkin, and I was sick of West Wing re-runs (and the Apple/Facebook stuff doesn't look like it would particularly appeal to me). Seems pretty amusing so far, has a similar critique of television to the Newsroom, but better acting and without the unwarranted air of superiority.

Mr. Robot. Started watching it last night and I'm hooked. I'm on the eighth episode of the first season. Blown away. It resonates with me on so many levels.

Just started on season 2 and its bloody marvelous, my 2nd favorite series after Fargo in recent times.

Anyone been watching Stranger Things? Good show!

Finished it last night, gutted it's over but glad there is serious talk of a new series.

Best thing I've watched in ages
