I love the FA Cup too, especially the third round when you get some seriously against the odds outcomes.

I love seeing teams of guys who play because they love to play. Who genuinely appreciate the opportunity.

You get to see football as the beautiful game, not as the ruthless corrupt money machine it's become at the highest levels.

Just read what Pellegrini said about today's game and you could not find a bigger home banker then Chelsea at 5/6 today, I know anything can happen but given how much importance Hiddink will and should be putting on this game and given how honest Pellegrini has been about him not giving a monkeys about it, It really is one way traffic, I suppose it's the least we could do to repay what you fellas did for us at Anfield a few years back.

Since this will be a precious opportunity for their second string players to impress, I also don't think it'll be easy. Their players will be hungry to show what they can do. Ours will be hungry too. Should be a good game. I'm optimistic because if both sides are motivated, we should win.

I personally think it was a bit disrespectful to what is still a prestigious competition, and I hope you get dumped out of Europe now aswell tbh.

Woops and now some of our stupid lot go and throw coins, lifetime bans for all of them I hope, probably just immature kids.

For years we've been saying that the authorities don't do enough to actually help English teams in Europe and you have to give Pellegrini credit for putting his money where his mouth is. He made it known he was going to do this and he followed through on it.

 

If they end the season with the league and Champions League then he's a genius. As it is I think he's given his big players extra rest and preparation time and it remains to be seen if that improves their chances. But if he's brought the issue into the limelight and it forces some changes in the future then fair play to him.

Hang on a minute, Aren't you being a tad disrespectful to your own side here? We were 1-1 at half time, I didn't hear Linekar and Shearer complaining then? Chelsea were magnificent throughout the game, What if we had a full XI out there today and still got twatted 3-1 or 2-1 and picked up a few niggles instead? I think Pellegrini is bugged that the FA don't help the clubs like La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga do, Juventus got their game moved to Friday and Bayern and Barca both played Saturday early afternoon, They would never make their clubs play on the Sunday.
