Well Ivanovic is 31 and this guy is 21. So it's nothing like the Luis transfer. I imagine that's what the guy was talking about, how we could line up once Terry hangs up his boots.

people say ivanovic is a jose favourite, but i disagree. i think jose has had his hand forced in terms of having to play ivanovic at rb because he had no other choice. to be fair, ivanovic has played well there, but if someone comes along who shows as much promise or more, i think we'll start seeing less of ivan in that position.

Terry is certainly coming to the end in the first 11. I think he ,ay be lucky to get through this season to be frank. . And as a right back I think Ivan will start to slowdown over next couple seasons, seeing Dave move to the right little by little.

I hope this isn't taken negatively it when you want to play for the best team in the country there are just limits. Rio Ferdinand is only two years older than JT.

I think Terry next to stones could be a great partnership if terry decides to carry on next season. it all depends how he performs this season; if there is a visible decline then we'll probably put stones in with cahill next season. 

He's very young and he would start as backup for Azpi. He's going to wait for his chance. We will have him for more good years, I hope we will sign him if Luis will leave.

Zouma is amazing replacement for Cahill. We don't need to waste 25m on a player that would block our talent to break into the starting line.

stones and zouma would be our future partnership i would presume. cahill is in his late 20's and i really don't think he'll ever reach the level of terry, so integrating a young central defensive pairing is the way to go. if i am honest, i think jose probably wants to steer zouma towards the CDM/CB role, rather than soley a CB. cahill is still a very good defender and that's why i think he'll take over from terry if terry shows decline this season, then stones will be the partner to cahill while zouma takes over the back up CDM role, as well as staying put to become our future partner for stones, as well as featuring often.

Alaba and Bernat are two very good and young fullbacks.

As he should be. He is a kid. Albeit a very very talented one. But as a kid, its not easy to come to this level ( a big club where expectations are huge) and become an instant starter. I expect Stones to be the same.

 

He should play all the Carling Cup and FA cup games. All the league games before (and sometimes after) each CL game. And if Chelsea has suspensions or injuries. He can do that this season and next season and especially in 2 years when Ivanovic can no longer start, Baba will be much more than ready.

When it happens (hope it does) Chelsea will be making a steal here. In my opinion, the kid is much more talented than Luis. Is he better? Only his performances can prove that. But with pure talent, I think he has more talent than luis.

Zouma is already better than Cahill. @ 30 years old, I expect Mourinho to come to terms with that in a year.
