Personally among surprised neither Mikel nor zouma started with matic.

Guess now could be the time for rlc.

Work rate, second assist etc and all that w**k but players in his role should be scoring and assisting a lot. He once again goes missing when you're looking at someone other than Hazard influencing a game.

We're told in the middle is his beat position but I'm sorry but today he has shown exactly why that isn't true.

Point is people dont see what willian does, he is having a sh*t game and look how bad we are, when he plays good we play good, this off day from him shows how important he is to all those who knock him

If he was a midfielder and not an attacking midfielder then he would be world class but he's not and he isn't.

If we lost it would be very disappointing. However, thats not the thing that disappoints me most. Its our performance. If we lost, but put in a good effort...played some good stuff....but come against a very good city, then i wouldnt complain.

 

We look disjointed, unfit...and lacking ideas. Doesn't bode well for the future.

Your entirely right, let's just hope Mourinho has whipped up a storm in the dressing room and Costa punishes them his play rather that a foul.

For me, there's only been 5 outfield players that have actually shown up for the start of this season.

Azpi, Matic, Willian, Hazard and Oscar, who was the best of the bunch last week.

Real fitness/motivation/ability concerns about the rest. Big half time team talk.

Hazard? He has done nothing. I'd go for Costa Courtois and Begovic as well.

I think it's Oscar we are missing more to be honest. 

If that is the case then, sadly, we need to get at fernadiniho. Get hazard to drop on to him and keep drawing fouls.

Matic been pretty good at least. He is doing fabregas running for him, and at least goes to win the ball with purpose.
