I'm curious to know how many of you have actually seen Rahman play in a full game, because I certainly haven't.

Ivan has been poor recently but I'm reluctant to suggest throwing in a complete unknown so soon, simply because I haven't a clue what to expect.

They wouldn't buy him without watching him..then again..cuadrado, however when it comes to defenders our scouts are normally very good, the least we can say about Rahman is he has bags of talent, some would say 3 bags full.

He was one of the best full backs in the bundusliga last season, has impressed enough for us to choose over Luis and spent over £20 million on.

I'd like to think if a fullback like Ivan was playing utter rubbish we could do something crazy like play a player who we paid big money for.

It is not a case of how many of us have seen him play.

It is a case of Jose & his coaching staff having a very good idea how Rahman plays, so it will not be a shot in the dark

to them, we will need two fit fast fullbacks to deal with the threat of Palaces wing play, now is the time to see what we

have in Dave & Baba, as Branna keeps on Failing.

Palace have extreme pace out wide so it has to be Rahmann and Azpilacueto at full back. Fabregas is a conundrum. either drop him, play him in a three man midfield which means 4-3-3 or play him in the middle

of the three behind Costa. If this decline in his athleticsm is permanent he simply cannot play in a two man central midfield, we will get constantly overrun and it is unfair on Matic. Does anyone else think that Oscar could be tried

alongside Matic in a 4-2-3-1. He has the technique, far superior athletically to Fabregas and he loves a tackle. Just a thought.

I shudder at the thought of Ivan up against Bolasie. He's a tricky customer with pace to burn.

Bolasie doesn't even know what he's going to do half the time let alone the opposition.

I would have started Oscar over Willian if he hadn't been struggling with his muscular injury. Oscar is more creative, links up better in attack and is a better finisher. I'm more worried about Ivanovic and Fabregas though, who both seems to be struggling.

Palace won't even be in this game....they will play on the counter attack with their speed because that is the only hope they have......4-1 Chelsea...the boys are back in town..

Thing is Ploks, we might not know what to expect from Baba but we certainly do know what we can expect from Brana at the moment. And that's not looking good against a team with pacey wingers and favouring playing wide.

Having said that I'm sure that Brana will start. He's the vice captain and JT is banned, plus José loves him.

Really look forward to this match, get 3 points here ( as we should) and we are in decent shape heading into the International break. I always believe International break is a momentum killer to a team in good form. Considering our slow start, probably not a bad thing. Ivanoic will start, let's hope he sticks to his position now we have a superior player on the right wing in Pedro. We know their game plan and how to beat it, confident we will get the job done.

I'd like to see...

------------Tibo

Azpi--Ivan©--Zouma--Baba

------Matic---Cesc

-Pedro--Oscar--Hazard

----------Costa

Willian could be a great impact player in the latter stages of the 2nd half. A fresh pair of legs with his engine could be really helpful whether we're defending or attacking.
