September 1, 201510 yr I'm not sure dealing with Psg is a good idea after we turned them over for Luiz
September 1, 201510 yr We were linked for a bit for him a couple days ago after Stones failed, don't think this was a panic bid today. Probably been working on it for a couple of days and PSG have simply said no. With the new TV deals with the premier league now it's going to be even hard to buy players such as Stones, clubs can afford to say no unless you pay way over the odds. Just look at Berahino and Spurs. Edited September 1, 201510 yr by Sheva
September 1, 201510 yr I wonder if failure to land a decent signing will have an impact on the squad we have? They must be watching these random bids as we are and wondering what the hell is going on
September 1, 201510 yr Why would we make a bid for Marquinos when we just signed Michael Hector from Reading?
September 1, 201510 yr Might as well put a bid in for Messi while we're at it I heard Pelé would consider coming out of retirement for 500k a week...as long as he can continue to be a spokesman for Viagra.
September 1, 201510 yr How have we gone from conducting our business so well last year, to this utter shambles. Might have something to do with our play on the pitch.
September 1, 201510 yr If we are willing to spend 50 million on Stones, offer 60 million for Marquinhos. PSG will bite quicker than a hungry fish going after fly bait.
September 1, 201510 yr Still time left for another totally random bid. To think we have to wait till January for more classic comedy from the CFC Boardroom. It's like having Basil Fawlty in charge of our transfer dealings. Edited September 1, 201510 yr by Socrates
September 1, 201510 yr HAHA what a sad state of affairs. We only have ourselves to blame on this, what a cacophony of sh*t this summer has been. To be fair, having begovic in is nice, and pedro is a great buy. But i have absolutely no expectation of seeing anything of baba rahman this year as jose will almost certainly revert to type for the majority of fixtures this season. all this bluff and bluster about dropping players - im going with the majority on the everton matchday thread who reckon that the most significant shakeup for that match will be ramires coming in. Wonder if Djildo baggins will see anything more than the odd 2 minute cameo in the FA cup against the likes of Shrewsbury. 4-0 up, trying to protect our lead. The funny thing is, I'm not even arsed. The board is taking the piss.

September 1, 201510 yr PRETENDING to do business with bids that go nowhere. This reminds me more of what a small club like Burnley did during the January transfer window than what is expected of the champions of England! Edited September 1, 201510 yr by lchk

September 1, 201510 yr Ivanovic circa 2012? Indeed. Totally fits Mourinhos type of full back. Very good defensively.
September 1, 201510 yr No idea why we bothered with this tbh Edited September 1, 201510 yr by Xfaxtor

Good spot, I saw this too. Not really sure why PSG would be any different to Napoli or AC. They have no apparent impetus to sell.
August 25, 20169 yr Sad...Maybe the best signing would be someone to replace who we have making decisions. Edited August 25, 20169 yr by Boricua Blue
August 25, 20169 yr Sad...Maybe the best signing would be someone to replace who we have making decisions. Genghis Khan perhaps?
August 27, 20169 yr Signing Marquinhos would be a dream. Could you imagine a future CB pairing of Zouma and Marq? Or if Conte opts for the 3 man CB, Marq, Zouma and Christensen?
