December 7, 201510 yr Our best chance of silverware comes in the form of this seasons FA Cup. Chelsea vs. Leyton Orient/Sc**thorpe Should make it to the 4th round at least.
December 7, 201510 yr orient could be a case of deja vu...1972...a season of imploding just like this.....the break up of the great late sixties team...advitaberg/orient/stoke......not happy memorys..
December 7, 201510 yr A nice run out for a couple of the youngsters or a chance for our ever present favourites to get some confidence, another trophy almost in the bag.
December 7, 201510 yr We NEED to go for this one 100% ... realistically, our only chance of silverware this season, no matter what happens in the league, CL etc.

December 8, 201510 yr They beat us at the Bridge a few years later too, '78ish. God I remember being so wound up after that one! Wasn't that the one where, at the away first game when the wall collapsed, instead of it being put down as being due to being a poxy gound, it was Chelsea fans' fault for leaning on it too hard?
December 8, 201510 yr Shame we drew one of these two giants as I really thought we had a chance this season. Still at least we'll free up the calendar for the second half of the year.
December 8, 201510 yr I should be excited about the F.A cup, but all i can think about is how we are going to sort ourselves out in the league. Edited December 8, 201510 yr by Scott Harris
December 9, 201510 yr Our best chance to secure some silverware! Hopefully we get our act together by the time the 3rd round clash comes around.

December 9, 201510 yr Surprised splishsplosh hasn't also said that it's also our only hope for European qualification next season given his run of form.
December 11, 201510 yr Game against Orient or Sc**thorpe will be at 2pm on Sunday, 10 January. Game will be shown on BT Sport. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/12/cup-tie-on-tv.html
December 11, 201510 yr Author Surprised splishsplosh hasn't also said that it's also our only hope for European qualification next season given his run of form. I would, but we aren't going to win the FA Cup, so thought better of it.
December 11, 201510 yr Both Orient & Sc**thorpe are only taking 3,000 tickets, bit surprised Orient dont want the full 6,000.
December 11, 201510 yr Both Orient & Sc**thorpe are only taking 3,000 tickets, bit surprised Orient dont want the full 6,000. Very strange. Tickets will be easy so
December 11, 201510 yr Luckily we'll be on TV. Random but I read a stat that every United FA cup game has been televised since 2005.
December 12, 201510 yr I would, but we aren't going to win the FA Cup, so thought better of it. Don't write us off! We may not be playing well at the moment but I still definitely give us a chance of winning the FA Cup. It's a competition of surprises and an element of luck so no one can be written off instantaneously just like that.
