Leicester v Chelsea - Mon 14 Dec - 20:00

Featured Replies

I'm upbeat about this game, not sure why. I think playing away actually helps us, they may need to show some intent rather than sit deep and wait for the counter if this is a home game for us. I don't know where the goals are going to come from, maybe an Ivanovic double from corners?

Sorry mate I do disagree with you. I don't think Leicester would come out attacking, why should they?. They are comfortable on the table, a point and they have same points as Arsenal in 1st point. I think they would sit back also and look to counter. Seeing a tight game, hopefully we edge it.

1 point above the drop zone, behind even Newcastle in the table.

Deary me, what will this place be like if we do not beat the foxes tomorrow...

Despondency with a few "guests" added I think :). Our fall from grace has been spectacular and a joy for everyone to watch. We remain the laughing stock of the English/European(?) football world; watching JM suffer is like a elixir for everyone except us. It is a tough mantle to bear, but the lads either dig their way out of sink without a trace. Every game is a must win at this point.

The sentiment above is getting to the fans of course.

We need maximum points from now till new years. Topping the group gave Jose some time but it feels like it was one game worth of time. Tonight is must win.

Completely agree ... no more room for error or excuses. The opposition doesn't matter ... we should be good enough to beat anyone home or away. Now is the time to show it, or face the real possibility of battling relegation. I hope JM tells the players this; that might get them to do a real shift.

Ranieri will be licking his wily old Italian lips, he has done head to head with Jose regularly, I can see a 0-0, they are very very good offensively, so cun on boys its time to step up and show some Champions quality...

I'm not sure what the best way to motivate the team is, showing them the league table should get them up but it could also put pressure on them they arnt used to handling, we already see them trying to constantly score the perfect goal, a deflected goal counts just as much.

Going to finish work, head to the gym to relax before the game as am very nervous for this one

I'm sure the team would have taken some good confidence from our UCL win last week. With other teams above us dropping points this weekend hopefully we can add 3 and string together some back to back wins which can see us climb up the table nicely. 2-1 Chelsea.

I would really love to see a similar performance to the one against Man City away a few years ago when nobody thought we had a chance but beat them comfortably, even though it was 1-0.

I'd love to see the above but I know Costa and Ivan will play.

A massive game in the context of our season but I don't think a loss will be that bad if it's a tight game. The talk of relegation is still too premature and considering this season has been the most unpredictable that I can remember for a number of years I think the gap between the best and worst (barring Aston Villa) is not that wide as it would have been in previous years.

Leicester are a good side and playing with complete freedom at the moment so expect them to jump out of the blocks quickly. However this may play into our hands the way it did during the week when Porto played loose attacking football but got beaten the other way when we were applying pressure on their defenders.

I hope Jose doesn't select Fabregas. Nothing against Cesc because he was a brilliant player last season especially in the first half of last season but he's been a liability this season and his absence against Porto made us look more sharper and secure in the midfield and defence. We need to apply the same effort as we did against Porto and hopefully we'll be rewarded on the scoreboard.

The optimist in me tips us to win 2-1! Come on boys!

Leicester fan in peace.

I think that Leicester will come out attacking from the off. JT is not what he used to be and Vardy and Merhaz are both flying.

I can see a at least a yellow between Costa and Morgen if not a red.

Hope Leicester win but then Chelsea win their remaining games to get in the top 4.

I Wouldn't mind if that were the case, unlikely as it is, but that would leave us with 81 points and with the way the season has gone that should see us 1st.

Leicester also win thier remining games apart from when we come to Stamford Bridge on the final day. I would settle for a draw for that one as long as we win all the others and have the Premiership trophy tucked away in the trophy cabinet and to top it off Villa came to the King Power and we thrashed them 9-0 to send them down

Leicester are going to absolutely thrash us.

I'm not usually a pessimist but I can see no light at the end of the tunnel, especially with Vardy, Mahrez and, perhaps most importantly, Kante, running rings around us.

Chelsea 0-4 Leicester

Feeling surprisingly optimistic about this one - hopefully Ranieri will keep Leicester's run going for as long as poss but I think Arsenal showed them up for what they really are earlier this season. By no means am I saying we're anywhere near Arsenal's level atm but if we can emulate the Gunners approach to this game I think we'll win convincingly.

Chels 3-1

Whoah, calm it right down there.

You aren't allowed to make predictions like that on here.

Toe the party line please.

I hope you win the league, and beat arsenal to it. It would be marvellous.

Spot on Splish, it's more worrying when real Chelsea fans do it.
