Start all the fringe players......that way if they play an almighty game and we win big, it's just because we were not playing our best team

I'm clearly in a minority of 1 but I'm simply not buying into this players not trying. I was in MH lower for the Porto game and Hazard clearly put in a shift but it just wasn't happening for him. You could see from the expressions in his face that he was just frustrated with himself. He like many he is way off form.

I guess I don't like the idea of rounding on players until we really know what's happened. What I've seen at the Bridge of late is a team devoid of confidence and form.

Finally if players didn't want to play for him then do people really think that Jose was weak enough not to drop them. The man was stronger than that.

Not sure what will happen today with Holland and Newton in charge. Abramovic went to the trainging ground Friday morning and told the players that this was a new start with Mourinho going. I hope they all return to their potential. If Hiddink does sign for us I don't expect miracles but what I do expect is that he steadies the ship and keeps us in the Premiership. If he achieves anything else then it will be a bonus but Premiership safety is our main priority. Sunderland will more than likely park the bus. I'd like to see a more adventurous Chelsea with quick attacking and shooting on sight. I'd also like to see Costa split defenses and improve on his movement. Mourinho going I think is best for the club. If we had kept Mourinho and these players we would have been relegated.It really is as simple as that. Hope we improve today and take all 3 points. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

All the talk of getting behind the players at the Bridge is funny given that the atmosphere at home is absolutely pants most of the time anyway. If those there today don't get behind the players it'll be pretty difficult to tell.

I don't think the reception given to the players will be hostile, just cold. There'll be plenty of singing for Mourinho.

 

We need to win this, I've spoken out against the sacking decision and think it'll say a lot about the players if they do turn up today, but it's best for the club if we win so I hope we do.
