The January Window

expect Bamford to go out on loan

Remy be flogged to Villa

Falcao loan not terminated

Failed multiple bids for Pogba, Vardy & Stones

Remy will be sold to Aston Villa if the offer is too good to turn down. Wouldn't be surprised if Falcao's loan is terminated (and rightly so) but this depends a lot on whether Remy leaves the club, but I'd prefer to keep Remy at least until the summer and see what he can do with more playing time and opportunities.

I expect Bamford to go out on loan but I hope we don't offload him to another club that won't give him ample opportunity to further develop his game. The move to Crystal Palace seemed good in theory but didn't work out in practice.

Wouldn't be surprised if Fabregas is sold as well. There's been a lot of murmurings that he's not happy here and wants to leave the club.

I would love to see Coco's wish come into fruition but in reality it won't happen sadly. It cannot hurt to see what the youngsters can produce and the pride and passion they display for the club.

I am not a fan of this window normally but i feel we need to sort out the midfield and the forward line asap.I like Kante from Leicester and im sure he could be tempted.Lose Falcao and give Bamford a go (he couldnt be worse).Long term i still like Stones at CB but that can wait until the summer.

Doing business in the January window has become synonymous with panic buying, so I would like to think that we will steer clear of what is bound to be a glut of overpriced players in a sellers market. That said, circumstances dictate our need to freshen-up an underperforming squad that cries out for at least one quality addition to be made to it - someone who will demand immediate inclusion in the first team. Unfortunately, a lowly league position diminishes our bargaining power and the situation only improves after [hopefully] a successful second half to the season, when a new manager with his own transfer targets arrives.

Keeping a watching brief is therefore my preferred option, unless that quality player can be identified and gets a behind-the-scenes nod of approved from an already identified new manager. Admittedly, this is probably just wishful thinking on my part, but if it isn’t and dreams really do come true, a big name striker from Bayern (or one with a long memory from Barcelona) might suddenly appear on our radar and willing to make the move. More realistically, but still applying the same thought process, bids for an Antoine Griezmann or a Sadio Mane might be made, although bearing in mind existing CL commitments in all but the latter case, more as a deliberate early-stage declaration of a longer term interest than with any real conviction of instant success.

Coming back down-to-earth with a bump, it’s far more likely we will continue to play the home grown card, making yet another doomed to fail attempt to prise John Stones from Everton, whose icy grip will only thaw when ManU eventually get around to offering a blowtorching, blow-your-minding sum of money for the lad. Personally, I’d like us to call a halt to these seemingly unseemly proceedings before they get totally out of hand and the press have a field day… oh, hang on a minute. We would be much better off, if there is still an insistence at boardroom level to increase the number of young wannabes who never quite can be at our club, to go after Duncan Whatmore, before it dawns on everyone that this kid is the most direct striker in the game at the moment and, once Sunderland are relegated, he’s likely to be the hottest property in next summer’s transfer window.

.

Honestly surprised no deals are announced yet, not for us I mean in the league in general. Window is now open right?

Thought Villa, sunderland and maybe arsenal would have deals lined up to go through right away.

The transfer window in England opens at midnight tonight. We can buy players from some minor leagues and France and Germany now though.

It doesn't open until 4 January in Spain and Italy.

It closes at 11pm in England on Monday, February 1, 2016 whilst the Spanish deadline is 31st January at 11pm GMT.

I don't think we will see much this window. Selling clubs know English clubs will have much more money to spend in the summer so will want to wait.

I'm not so sure. A few clubs will be desperate for achievement. Some clubs near the bottom, including us, may go a bit wild to salvage our season and stay safe.

Whereas the teams at the top have never had a better chance to win a poor league. If Arsenal sign a top striker (been saying this for years) they should walk the league with the form Ozil is in.

I think that will be true of our business but no so for some other sides in the league.

Villa really need to try and buy their way to safety. Sunderland too. Other sides near the bottom will spend.

Arsenal will not get a better chance to win the league than this any time soon. City are a faded force, United have collapsed and we have sunk without trace.

Arsenal invest well and they walk the title. Wenger must see this.

Imagine the seethe form the Goonies if he either spends nothing or only signs some 15 Albanian goalkeeper ha ha...

We need some grit. Guys who know the Premier league. Naismith would be an option. Van Ginkel too. But hardly matters who we bring in if we aren't going to play them so Guus needs to know who he wants to drop

I think we are all agreed that we needs some HEART back in our Club, more over in the team. Drogba returning in a coaching role will be a good start, i know that he will not be on the pitch, but he will be at the training ground daily and in the dressing room. hopefully he will stop the sh*t that has been going on. End the cliques, point out to Guus/Roman who the trouble makers are and assist in getting rid of them.

Then get some youth in to the side. Bamford (or Swift) for Falcao, RLC for Fabregas, Christiansen for Baba/Ivanovic, Traore for Oscar.

FORGET buying overpriced Torres-like failures, keep the cheque book tucked away until the Summer.

I like how the youth is always seen as the remedy to all problems. If they're so good then why do they never make it anywhere while on loan? Why would they suddenly become good for us after failing to impress for lesser clubs? It doesn't make any sense.

People are so desperate and in denial, it's just sad.

Depends on how you look at it.

Loftus-Cheek - he doesn't need a loan, we all saw that he is talented enough and has a potential to success at Chelsea. His performances in Chelsea U21 and England U21 showed that even more. The current system is unfair towards him, he deserves more than playing 30 seconds and sit on the bench whole season.

Patrick Bamford - was the best player in Middlesbrough last season, scored 17 goals. His last loan to Crystal Palace was useless, the chance he was given wasn't enough to show something.

Bertrand Traore - from my view he's one of our best attacking options, deserves more playing time. Has scored 17 goals last season, but with us, he doesn't even get games. His loan was successful and if we're not going to play him, we have to loan him again to a team that would play him like Vitesse did.

Nathan Ake - all his loans were successful, especially the current one in Watford. If next season we're not going to play him, he will probably leave to a team that would play him and he will become better and better.

What we could do is spend loads on players who aren't really good enough, while selling players we never really gave a chance to & watch them go from strength to strength!

Honestly the way the club has been run since Emilano has been director of football has been a joke!

Please not Naismith the way he left rangers is not something i wish on Chelsea however decent a player is

We will pish for pogba but I would prefer dyabala at juve for a bit of grit we are missing I wouldn't mind a shelvey or shawcross but they would be stopgaps

Maybe hiddink could entice a van persie or huntelaar as an extra striker

that's not really his say, is it?

Then what's the point of his position? His job title is director of football, that makes him in charge of the footballing aspect of the club, reporting to the board. Just like any other director in any company across the world.

His team is scouting these young talents, he's making the recommendation to the manager & board to buy these young players. He's the failure in this department.

What on gods earth was he doing sanctioning the purchase of Filipe Luis, when we already had Bertrand?

If rumour is to be believed we are after yet another small Brazilian attacking midfielder FFS that's the last thing we need, that's his department again.

Get rid of this clown.
