Chelsea vs Everton - Sat 16 Jan - 15:00

Featured Replies

I haven't enjoyed us playing against Everton recently, especially with that whiney little weasel Martinez managing them.

I expect a similar game to that of West Brom, fairly open for each side.

Lukaku and Barkley can and probably will cause us problems.

Despite last night's result, I believe we can still win this or at least get a draw.

We should be playing with a lineup like this:

Courtois

Brana - Zouma - Terry - Dave

Mikel - Cesc

Willian - Oscar - Kenedy (Pedro to come on if Kenedy struggles to make an impact)

Costa

Hmm, I think the scoreline would be a 2-1 or 3-2 win to us (hopefully).

Is Naismith fit for this game by the way? I'm sure he will score against us again if he plays.

Come on lads.

I think that will be the line up, or maybe hazard for kenedy if fit.

Just like west brom, but with more quality. They will be physical and push us hard. Lukaku may well decide this game.

Tough game, can't predict anything, both teams can win this and for them both this game is important.

I'd like to see this starting line:

------------------------ Courtois -----------------------

Azpilicueta ---- Zouma ---- Terry ------- Baba Rahman

------------------ Mikel --------- Fabregas --------------

Willian ---------------- Oscar ------------------- Kenedy

------------------- Diego Costa ---------------------------------

COME ON CHELS!!!

I think it will be another draw if we play the same team. However they played 4 games in about 10 days, I do believe the fatigue will kick in this game ( at least I pray for that). Drop Pedro and Oscar, hopefully Hazard will play a cameo. It's fine we are on an unbeatable run, but we really haven't won much either.

I expected the usual 11, but it would be nice to drop the underpformers and give some others a chance.

Oscar out for RLC

Pedro out for Kenedy

Maybe Zouma out for Cahill or Ivanovic and put Baba at LB

I have as much confidence with a win as I did against West Brom and that went well!

I'd swap Oscar for RLC add a bit more physical presence and don't play Matic!

A win please Chelsea don't care how you do it we demand victory over the blue scouters!

Everton players can get down and dirty when required, too many of ours are unable to do it or like Costa go to far and try and beat up opposition. About the best I'm hoping for is a draw, anything more would be spectacular considering our recent form.

Not much confidence going into this game I'm afraid.

Even though we're at home, it still isn't enough to raise my confidence levels enough.

Of course I'm hoping we will draw (not even counting on a win anymore).

Unfortunately, this year there have been many surprises at the top. Too bad we're not in the mix up there, but instead in the wrong mix down at the bottom.

Really wish we hadn't rid ourselves with Jose, but instead rid ourselves with a majority of our team!

Won't you tremble when you see Lukaku or Delofeu in a one on one situation with Papy?

I don't know. I've never seen him play!!

I hope we destroy this horrible scousers. I didn't mind Everton up until the Stones saga.

Martinez being a little bitch with his post match comments after the away game last season put me off of him/them.

Doesnt matter how hard i try to be positive or optimistic theres no hiding the fact that we are 2 bob...has hard has ive tried i cant see us winning this & to top it all i bet lukaku scores just to make me feel even better...anyway with that said the team i would like to see run of the tunnel tomorrow is

tibs

dave jt zouma baba

Mikel

cesc rlc

Willian costa eden/kenedy......que sera sera KTBFFH!!!

Blimey, their defence was very good against city, and overall on the road its much better than at Goodison

think the team and us could be in for a torrid time, the only plus is that every other game or so they surprise us,

Guus and themselves by giving a damn and playing well for most of the 90 (not last game though)

Pedro needs to sit this one out, but he wont, Zouma too - he looked like he had lost all spatial awareness in the final minutes vs WBA

Expect the same line up though, same formation, same tactics, etc etc.

Cant 'hazard' a guess at the result , carefree then  !!!
