I think Mikel was the only one who played well the whole game, despite Matic's best attempts to sabotage the midfield, so I guess I'll give MOTM to him.

Costa is a close second though and probably would have got it if he didn't get injured.

Could have been Costa, but I've actually gone for Terry. He messed, up, didn't give up, gave it a skilful punt in the last moments. What a captain.

Costa for me. His fighting spirit even when we were 2:0 down gave me hope that we can still come back. We would have won if he didn't get injured. Fabregas and Mikel were both impressive when they eventually played together. And that Mikel strike would have been one the best goal i have seen since Lampard left.

Terry is my pick.

Never gave up even after scoring that own goal.

That celebration showed how much it meant to him and the fans in the stands.

What a captain!

After an hour i was going to vote for nobody because every player was terrible. But if it wasn't for Fabregas after the hour mark we wouldn't have gotten back into that game, his passing was vital so i'm giving my vote to him.

Playing deep suits him but Guss was scared Everton will overrun us in the midfield. So that was why he started Matic there instead.

That pass for the first goal was simply wonderful - then that flick on the goal where he almost scored was simply tantalizing - I know he won't get credit for the 2nd goal, but Cesc showed he was up for the task in this comeback

I don't suppose  the ref added on a minute for that celebration did he? And did he book JT for that?

Men of the match: Fabregas and Costa dragged us back into that.

Knob of the match: Ivanovic for the way he stood admiring their third goal. Unbelievable.

Fabregas and to say I am not his biggest fan is an understament. Hit the long balls that got us back in the game though with accuracy and timing.

No and stewards didn't have to carry him back to the pitch.

Be fair, Zouma did exactly the same.

Mikel was a LOT better than Matic granted but to say he played well all game is stretching it! The likes of Barkley were going past him as if he wasn't there and have another look at the third goal. Although it looks (and was) dreadful from Ivan and Zouma, when you watch the replay, the Everton player who scores was being "marked" by Mikel who lost him not once but twice!

I go for Costa just ahead of Fabregas.
