John Terry to leave Chelsea at end of the season.

pffft.

still easily good enough.

weird that ivanovic who has seriously wilted is staying and he is not. even stranger given that we have no permanent manager.

Day bloody ruined.

Ivanovic, after quite a few atrocious performances, gets a new contract but Terry doesn't? What is the thinking here? What rationale has been used? Is it money? Because of his salary? Because it can't be for his form, dedication or quality.

Devestated.

he can't carry on forever at 35 and there comes to a point where we have to start relying on younger players. however, i would prefer he stay 1 more season.

It's strange to us because we know how to treat a legend of his magnitude, but if Roman is calling all the shots, this is the kind of thing that happens, because no way would any manager turn down the offer of having JT in your squad.

Wild rumour, he openly supported Jose. Watch this space as they say. What a way to treat someone who epitomises Chelsea.

I'd like him to go on a relative high, if he is to go that is.

I would suggest we already know who the new manager will be, we're possibly going to play a high line and JT has been assessed as surplus.

It has to be the only logical reason. It can't be money or form so must be there. I cannot see any other reason

What a f**king Joke, great result today has been clouded over by the most ridiculous decision the club has ever made.. only at Chelsea.. f**k OFF.

Quoted as saying he wanted to stay 'but club moving in a different direction'

He has said he won't play for another English club.

What a loss to the home of football, what a loss!

You don't get rid of players like John Terry, it's f**king ludicrous. These type of players decide when they leave the club, not the f**king board. Terry should be retiring as a Chelsea player.

There couldn't be a worse time for this to happen. No Champions League football next season ( most likely ) and nobody left at the club that understands or knows everything about the club.

f**king disgusting decision by the club. I don't care if this comes across as a knee jerk reaction but this decision has made me hate the club as it is right now. One of our greatest ( the greatest in my opinion ) just waved away like another player. Everything about this stinks. There is no loyalty at this club, none at all.

Where is the leadership going to come from in our team?! Where are we going to find a better CB? It's going to take years to replace him and looks to be a long road ahead of rebuilding for the club. I do not understand what these morons at the top are thinking half the time, completely on a different wave length to the fans it's depressing.

The club will get so much venom spat at them on Wednesday night, glad we don't have to wait a week for the fans to show their disgust.

He may be 35 granted, but I still feel this is very short sighted given the current fragility.

What a disgrace. F**k off whoever took that decision.

Yeah ship out all the leaders in this club. First Lamps, now JT which is worse. F*cking disgrace. Don't even know what to say.

Speechless.

When are Roman, Emenalo, Buck and the rest of those back room mugs going to just get it done with and take a big sh*t on a Chelsea flag in the middle of the Stamford Bridge pitch?

The only modern day legend we have treated with any respect is Drogba. Lampard, Terry and Jose have been treated like nobodies by the club.

Absolute circus.
